I don't fly a lot of single engine GA in the sim but did own the Comanche in P3D and enjoyed it. After seeing Ryan's paint I decided that I will be buying this.... Fine wires eliminate the problem but as a result, you can get lazy idling at 600RPM all day (that's an option you have flying for real so it's here too). Great to know. I’m going to have to remember to change the spark plugs in my virtual airplane when I get home haha. July 19, 20232 yr Guys, set your sim turbulence to realistic and fly into some thunderstorm clouds with this thing. It's much much better than with any other plane. Amazing. That is the only thing I can think of. I think so too, I think about 1500 feet. I happened to collide with an invisible object at 8000 ft once! And somewhere in Utah or so was a plateau with an invisible very high peak! Approached Shannon from the other side twice and had no problems. July 19, 20232 yr I have to add to the praise. This is the first plane that feels like a real plane. I got bumped around on a windy 100-degree day just like it is. I was also able to punch up an ILS approach and was able to hand fly it with some precision. I have not found another MSFS general aviation plane that produced the same feel. It's hard to describe, but there just is something in the feel that is different.
July 19, 20232 yr In flight how do I know the tip tanks are empty, or close to therefore switching to main tanks? In the manual it says you should use the tip tanks first to ensure best lateral flight, It looks like the fuel/payload page only shows the fuel I loaded in on the ground and doesn't dynamically reduce in flight. July 19, 20232 yr No proper experience with this piper in any sim, but is it normal for the slip/slide ball to be "stuck" in the middle ? no matter the turns i make, its always centered. No rudder is needed in flight whatsoever. strange... i dont have anything on in the MSFS assistance menu either... Not observed (yet) by me but I’ve not been looking but will do so now and no…this would not be normal for ANY aircraft. -B Edited July 19, 20232 yr by btacon
