So the tablet is out of beta and almost ready to be released. Yet we haven't seen a single screenshot shot of it working. I don't get it, what have they got to hide? Its nothing new, most high end addons have them now and they all do roughly the same thing.

Here's how i really see the timeline for the years to come:

- PMDG finishes the 737 777 and 747, a whole new simulator will be out by then and the cycle repeats with a "new" 737 in the works for this new platform;

- FSL finally finishes their A330 for MSFS which, as usual, is already being deprecated;

- LevelD releases the 757;

- Captain sim produces a brand new shell for all the 777 models and releases them for this new simulator. Fortunately, the simulator will be so advanced that they can get away with the default 777 panel.

You may not compare MSFS 2024 with MSFS 2020. Developpers will not have to build a add-on from scratch. See Asobo official statement :

Will all purchases users have made from the Marketplace be transferrable to the new simulator?

With very few exceptions, virtually all add-ons that work in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) today will function in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Add-ons that were purchased from the in-simulator Marketplace will not need to be re-purchased in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Concerning the date of release, remember that the first videos of the B737 700 were published just one week before the release...

Nah, there's nothing wrong with that. Anwyay it's just related to a lot of vaporware along all these years in flight simulation 🙂

Starting with the program launch in Oct 1990 to first flight, it took Boeing less then 4 years to design and build the actual plane.  Maybe PMDG can beat that record with the video game version.

That looks great, but when PMDG gives us the non-beta I hope everything isn't backwards like it is on this one.

I see that PMDG have taken the average flightsim forum member into account with that design :smile:

Every single one is "AMAZING STUFF COMING REAL SOON NOW", with no real information or data or dates or anything, really.

Typical PMDG style for many years. I was never a big fan of their way, prefer new comers with their transparency.
