And they still won't show a proper screenshot of it! I don't get why they have to be so secretive about it. I mean, what features will it have that we haven't seen before? It's an aviation style tablet for use in a flight sim, they all do the same things! 🤣

So working title and Kuro team can develop the new 787 EFB in 10 weeks, but Pmdg, almost 2 years, and now we get a 'teaser' 😬

Yeah I'd also love to know the differences between the WT/Kuro one and the PMDG one.

Right, because Mathijs has such a strong track record with communicating with the community. There's a post from him responding from a user in the PMDG forum saying that they "don't do teasers", only to quite literally release a teaser. Their big announcement, which is this weekend, is only an announcement on when they plane to announce a release date. I'm with most people here, rooting for PMDG, but their track record on timing hasn't exactly been stellar. What's wrong with being critical? If you take the temperature on different flight sim publications you'll see varying degrees of acceptance and rejection, but the average response is: this has taken way longer than expected, and the way you're going about showcasing and previewing the product is both awkward and self-inflicting. 

Also, that small little tiny preview that we've been given, has me really worried about the UX design. 

It seems like PMDG thinks there is literally complete Beatle-mania out there with every mere mention of an obscure electronic flight bag addon for a very niche PC flight sim. 

If it didn't get pushed out automatically via the app, I wouldn't be exactly rushing to get it.

They only show half of the EFB, I guess the other half needs still to be finished. So probably they will postpone the release date again.

Nope, it will be a staged release. We get the right part this year and left somewhere in 2025.

Honestly, so much hype about this.  Everyone else did it two years ago. What's with all the drama.
