Shame that one of the most iconic parts of the World, which desperately needs good water masking, didn't receive more care and attention. Having done that in P3D for my own amateurish sceneries, I would be surprised if some blending to fade the WM into the deep sea tiles was not possible. That requires some PITA labor and thus cost of course. Rivers too big or not following the satellite image: Untouched. Inaccuaracies in coastline drawing: Untouched Tree setting and biomes: Untouched. They simply add better DEM, add the POI's, sometimes PG Cities, and airports and that's it. Someone painstakingly going over inaccurate data or AI mistakes is simply not happening, and probably outside of the scope of a free update. Even though I think it really should be done. Kind of comparable to what ORBX used to do in their Region packages, making sure that trees are placed correctly, have the correct height and water polygons are all accurate.
February 3, 20242 yr I thought world updates fixes oh well Will Unstiall it and download the flightsim.to ok will loo at flightsim.to

The Caribbean is one of my favourite places to fly, doing island hopping so I’m certainly enjoying it. Plus we’re in the middle of a two day snow storm here in Halifax expected to dump 40-50cm on us, so flying somewhere warm is a nice escape 🙂 Edited February 3, 20242 yr by regis9 Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU
February 3, 20242 yr It's just a shame Cuba gets so little attention I expect there is plenty of data and it's simply a political decision not to cover it well (politics shouldnt come into it really).

February 3, 20242 yr Surely the watermasks were working when the update was passed for release, so how are they suddenly not working now? Insufficient testing of the final release version? Is there any other logical deduction?
