I can't even see my download speed this time. All I see is a bar scale on the World Update  page.

Download speed is only shown in the content manager.

Gaya Simulations did a fantastic job on the new airports!

Art wise sure, but the parking is terrible for people who use AI and and/or use the default ATC. The parking spots at MDPP and MKJS are too small for any airliners that fly there, and TTCP doesn't have parking big enough for the 787s or 777s that fly there.

Did get a nice shot of an AIG 777 landing at TTCP though (before it de-spawned due to the lack of big enough parking)

I totally understand, as I've felt the same way about World Update XI: Canada.

I just feel Canada is a very dull boring place to fly compared to the colorful tropical beautiful Caribbean.

But hey we now have Canadian and Caribbean WUs so everyone is satisfied.

You just gotta go to the right places in Canada.  Try the ATR on a 2700 foot gravel runway in the winter!

I just slowly circled the entire capital city of Kingston, Jamaica, in the 172. The scenery is breathtaking. Performance is the best I've ever experienced in a sim.

For the first time in my life a sim, by default, has gotten our majestic Pitons right and it didn't cost an extra penny. This update got soooo many things right about my country and I am giddy with excitement!

This is useful from the FSTraffic manual regarding parking space sizes. I don't know if FSTL has a similar adjustment.

Wingspan Options – provides control over the wingspan of the FS Traffic aircraft, allowing for greater
compatibility when using FS Traffic with default MSFS airports or with third-party airports which may not have
accurate gate sizes set up:

• Real-World Values – sets the wingspan values of the FS Traffic aircraft to their real-world values. This
option is recommended for users who use a large amount of third-party airport scenery add-ons which
have correct gate sizes assigned.

• Compatibility Mode (Low) – sets the wingspan values of all FS Traffic aircraft to be slightly lower than their
real-world values. This option is recommended for users who use a mix of default MSFS airports and
third-party airport scenery add-ons which may not have the correct gate sizes assigned.

• Compatibility Mode (High) – sets the wingspan values of the FS Traffic aircraft to the same values as
Compatibility Mode (Low) but further reduces the wingspan values of wide-bodied aircraft. This option is
recommended for users who wish to see more wide-bodied aircraft generated at default MSFS airports
and at third-party airport scenery add-ons which may not have the correct gate sizes assigned.

Note: In MSFS the wingspan value of AI aircraft is only used to define the size of the aircraft with respect to the
airport gates, therefore adjustments to this value will have no effect on the flight models of the aircraft in the
simulator.

Yeah, they're saying heavy usage always causes problems around updates, but I don't remember this before on the official forums.

With the huge Teams outage last week, my faith in MS' web infrastructure is not at its highest (whether it be their own or AWS').

Same same. Even though knobs, buttons and control surfaces seem similar there no such thing like a type rating 🙂

There’s a type rating then you do differences courses, which are mainly self study.

You guys praising this update as phenomenal are not that much into watermasks, no? 😉
