February 5, 20242 yr Will the PMDG 737-7 and & 737-10 fly in our sim before they enter in commercial service IRL? that's the question! lol

Perhaps, but a significant number of PMDG customers have been asking for them to do the MAX for quite some time. I do wish they would add the 757/767. Perhaps that is the “new product line” RSR spoke of recently. I personally would love the 727, but I don’t know if it would sell well enough to justify the development costs, as there are only a handful of real 727 aircraft still flying. But, I suppose it might be of interest for those who want to fly historical 727 passenger and freighter flights. February 5, 20242 yr Does anyone think that all the recent news on the 737 Max might cause PMDG to delay the release. Didn't they hold up on the PMDG P3D Max back when the Max had all the negative press due to MCAS. February 5, 20242 yr Despite the Max woes I would like to see it in MSFS. As early as last year the Max was almost the dominant airplane at SEA now. It was almost at the point I was starting wonder where all the NG's went? Pure speculation on my part but the 777 is definitely next from PMDG. The Max will probably drop about a month after release of the 777. I see PMDG beating IFly and waiting until after the 777 does not really pose any danger of IFly getting the Max out first. My thoughts might change if IFly releases some fresh photos on its current progress. I hope at least eventually we see the PMDG Max 7 and Max 10. Since its not yet certified and flying paying customers I can certainly see these coming later but hopefully PMDG models them now. Max 8 and Max 9 now for sure!

February 5, 20242 yr I just don't understand the hype over getting the Max in the sim, since we already have such nice NGs. I mean, given how airlines operate & train (i.e., to as much uniformity & conformity as possible), is it going to bring a significantly different experience than the present PMDGs...? I'd much rather see new types of aircraft in the sim, like the pending 777, or the old school Boeings, or even the non-Boeings PMDG has previously brought to market. Personally, I'm really looking forward to their rendition of the 747.
