May 7, 20242 yr If I remember correctly there is an Xbox event in June where we should hear more info about MSFS 2024 and a possible release date. I think the plan was a summer release like 2020 but the lack of news and footage could be a sign that they are way behind schedule.

May 7, 20242 yr Nobody really knows. The name obviously implies this year, but things can always be delayed. I would assume release is not going to be sooner, as we have not heard anything about closed betas or anything else. Later this fall/winter seems like the logical guess, but again, nobody knows. For 2020, there was lots of talk of closed betas and such from people before launch, and we've had none of that. Either they are keeping things really locked down, or more likely, later this year.
