I haven't been able to complete a flight because of this MS server outage.  Do you find FSHud unusable?  Or is it just irritating?

Irritating I guess. Eventually I quit the flight as the MS servers are down

    I just upgraded my 3080ti to a 40 series for $6.99 lol.

  • Ok @David Roch I really thought this was going to be the latest "double your FPS" scam out there but I am literally in disbelief.  Thank you for bringing this to my attention.  I decided to give it

  • A little offtopic here but this software works wonders in xplane 12 too. From 40fps to 100fps with all settings maxed out at 4k. It's pure magic. I am speechless honestly.

If you have a so-called "modern" installation, the .exe default location should be: C:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Content

If you've got a "legacy" installation, it's not possible to access the folder where the .exe is.

In that case it is not possible to use this app with a legacy installation since MSFS cannot be added to the 'Game Profiles' list in the UI?

or is there another way to add it?

I haven’t done anything with profiles, seems to be working though

Oh, I think I've got the hang of it now. Seems that games profile panel is so you can set up individual game profiles rather then just using the default profile.

how to run this together with autofps?

I am not seeing the results I expected based on all the positive comments I read here.

With no Lossless scaling running but with Frame Gen on I see 55 to 70 FPS  (flying out of KTIW) with nothing in my community folder.  When I turn FG off I see 27 to 35 FPS.

I turn Lossless scaling ON with Frame Gen ON and I see 28 to 35 FPS - YES Lossless cuts my frame rate in half with FG on.  With FG off and Lossless scaling ON I see 27 - 35 FPS i.e. NO improvement.

The above is with Lossless at 2.1 and X2 with Scaling OFF or ON (makes no difference to results).  The status section does show MSFS and the correct scaling info.

When I use the Assetto Corsa (auto race sim) BenchMark I see 90 FPS with FG on and Lossless scaling off.  When I turn Lossless scaling ON I see NO change in the benchmark FPS, variance, max FPS or CPU utilization.

I'll reserve judgment for now but its a thumbs down here. The deal breaker is that once I hit the scaling button and select the MSFS window whan the scale is applied it totally destroys my image quality. Hard to describe. It looks like a badly over exposed colour photograph or a video of MSFS recorded with a cell phone camera off the screen in the dark room. Any body got any input on that? I tried to record it using OBS but the video playback was like MSFS as normal ever when the scale was applied.

Turn off HDR, you cant use that and dont need it.

Sounds like you have the HDR box checked in the Lossless app.

Make sure HDR is off in Windows and MSFS..

No, no, you can let HDR enabled in Windows and MSFS.
Then you need to enable the HDR option in LS.

But if HDR is disabled, you MUST disable it in LS.
That's it. 😉

For me and my MSFS this program is "nogo". it increase not Frames, i get horrible stutters when paning around.
my 3080ti will not work more with this tool, maybe because my frames are on maximum dropped by my CPU, wich i can not make faster.

also i have my MSFS in Window-mode, this tool switch the sim to borderless windowmode like fullscreen, so i can not see my other
tasks. Also a problem, when switch over to other programs wich running at 2nd screen the effect stops, when MSFS is not in focus.

but i will not refund this tool, it works great in my trainsimulator classic and also it works great in my old OMSI.
Edit: next Problem
All Programs we buy on Steam, are only working when Steam is running in background. My MSFS is MSStore, so in will not have Steam in Background...

Hmmm, Strange! It seemed to address my problem I had to do the opposite. HDR in the Lossless Scaling app was off and I turned it on. I have HDR on in the app, in the sim and in Windows setting. Anyway problem solved and I'm glad I got past it because I'm happy to say this app is definitely not snake oil. I've been using Samsung HDTV Frame interpolation for years for frame generation with great success. Basically you get 30fps from the system and the TV gives you 60 on screen. This app basically does the same thing except it shift the FG back to the system. MSFS provides the 30fps and the app gives you the 60fps at 60hz on the screen. Out of the gate it seems to me to work better than the TV's already really good frame interpolation. Its also far better than dlssg-to-fsr3. I'm sure I can get my TV do frame interpolation at 60hz so its just a matter of time before I stack that on top of the app for 120fps on screen with my 3090. Yes the panning is the smoothest I've ever seen. It's excellent and well worth the $10.

There is a checkbox for multi-monitor you need to check to resolve this issue.

I think everyone with any gpu whatsoever except a 4000 series Nvidia should be using this app. But it's less of a hassle for those with Steam MSFS. Because they have to use the Steam client to boot MSFS anyway, and you have to use the Steam client to boot Lossless Scaling in the same way.

And any weak gpu barely meeting the lowly published MSFS minimum requirements can use this to double frame rates, which is something they need.
