Yes it's better, it does not cause any artifacts on windows such as the VFR map, ATC, etc. You still have some artifacts when panning quickly, generated in areas with very different color (black poles, white clouds over blue sky, for example) but I would say that it's undoubtedly better than the DLSS to FSR3 FG mod. 59 minutes ago, patrice_bambou said: Sorry, but no, there are artifacts in frame generation and small stutters are far more present than in native FG (I have a 3090 GPU) The RTX 3000 series has no access to "native" FG. You can compare it to the DLSS to FSR3 FG which made overlays, subtitles and windows unusable and was not better than this for other aspects. With LS 2.90 I have small artifacts but not stutters, probably it also depends on settings and how able is your CPU to maintain a stable framerate. I recommend the following: Monitor refresh rate at 60 Hz MSFS framerate locked at 30 in NVCP LSFG 2.1 - X2 mode Scaling off 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber

I refer to the scaling option in the app. However, having a 3440x1440 monitor I don't need scaling, especially with FG... I just need 30 stable fps in order to get 60 and my GPU can do that at native resolution. 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber

I was getting 65fps on the ground and 80fps at altitiude. More than adequate for me and yes, it works seemlessly with none of the drawbacks of the FG mod. Download the app, confgure your personal settings and press "scale", thats it. Less than 5 mins and you're away. June 12, 20241 yr I'm a bit unsure of how to read the Lossless Scaling Frame Rate counter. It shows 2 figures - on mine it is 30 / 60. Does this mean that MSFS is running at 30 FPS but the actual displayed framerate os 60 FPS?

Yeah, the smallest number is the actual rendered frames, the highest is the framerate with frame generation.
