the most important thing is that the atc controls and speaks to ia traffic too, and the only one who can do that is fshud

In your opinion.

  • Ok. You're in the Pilot2ATC version 3.0 thread right now. This isn't the BeyondATC vs FSHud vs SayIntentions vs P2ATC thread.

  • I own P2ATC and, while I appreciate the developer's efforts, I can’t see myself dealing with that outdated UI again.

  • Great. Looks like you didn't really try it at all, or look into anything, and you'll continue using Beyond ATC regardless. Now, can we discuss Pilot2ATC any not every other atc program?

BATC can do it with too with the upcoming traffic update (to be released within hours/days from now). And the voices do not sound like robots from the 90s.

Hours? Days? Thanks!

Frankly the most important for me is the fact it is multi-sim AND works properly, also somewhat bizarrely (because I always said I would never use it) I don't want to give up voice control .. ..

Used it previously as well. But, yes that UI is not pretty. Plus, I'm enjoying with what is being done with AI and that may be the future for ATC.

They said last weekend that it's now basically "day-to-day", they are squashing the last critical bugs and it could be anytime from now.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

This is what happens when we allow the developer (ASOBO) to go 4 years without improving their flight planner, ATC system, and AI traffic interaction.

Same feeling here. And we even do not know if msfs2024 will see a major overhaul. I would exchange all 18 world updates for a full fledge communication system covering VFR, IFR and AI Traffic and OCC

When MSFS  first came out P2ATC was a breath of fresh air and added a most needed ATC add on. I see the new version looks real good and I hope it adds to this great flying platform, but for me , from my RL flying experience of 30 plus years, nothing even comes close to SayIntentions. its the real deal. The AI addition to this sim is really as real as it gets so far.No complex UI just fire up the engine, head set on, and communicate, navigate, and aviate. Thats the real world. Best of luck to P2atc.

check out renting an ARCHER wet for 3 hours!!!

I've had it on my shopping list for a long time, being multiplatform puts it above the rest, the AI traffic control doesn't really matter to me, I don't usually use AI traffic in any simulator.

Allow them?

The only way to force their hand to improve ATC, is to not buy MSFS, but purchase the other flightsims that offers ATC to the standard you want.  Which other sim do you recommend?

CPU Ryzen 7800X 3D  RAM 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz GPU GEFORCE RTX 4090
Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440
Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

Instead of focusing on the UI it would be nice to know what the differences are in ATC capabilities between the offerings. What is missing? What things are better with each? The UI is just aesthetics. I don’t look at P2ATC for more than a minute or two. It is the other stuff that matters to me.

If you want IFR and VFR then I am pretty sure that narrows your list to P2ATC and SayIntentions, obviously SI has a subscription though.

Other than that each has their own advantages and disadvantages.
