Besides all the amazing stuff...I was a tad disappointed the runway default runway markings are incorrect in the USA. 500 foot markers should be 3 strips not 1. Probably silly, but I just can't unsee it.

Is there a full list somewhere of the aircraft included with the Aviator Edition? I've been looking at lists of the famous flyers, local legends, etc. - but I can't seem to get it to add up to 30 aircraft, not sure if I'm just making a mistake or what. May just end up doing Premium Deluxe, but it would be helpful to see a full list before I decide.

Is this confirmed that the 30 extra aircraft of the Aviator Ed. are the famous flyers / local legends from MS2020?

Because, if one is really interested in these one probably has already purchased them - and wasn't it said that MS/Asobo MS2020 marketplace purchases will carry over?

Picking up the Premium Deluxe... I don't usually purchase add-on airports so i want all 160 and it appears aviators edition only adds the 30 aircraft that were released by MS to the marketplace to date.

So I can choose 2x the cheapest one as I fly Prosim 738 only and from low to high price there is only a difference in 10 bespoke airports .

I only fly to third party airports so the base version seems for me the one to go for …

Always amazed that people spending thousands of dollars for computer hardware to fly a sim then really think about saving some 60 bucks by buying a standard edition only instead of the full blown stuff 😉

Looks like I will be purchasing the standard edition again as I have no interest in default airports or aircraft. PMDG, Fenix and Leonardo Maddog X for me. Still waiting on a Lancair Legacy for G.A. flying.

I am not sure what I am thinking about the FS24.

Looking a the site, only Aviator edition lists "Online Multiplayer 2-2" as one of the capabilities.

Does that mean you need Aviator version for multiplayer on PC?  And, what does "2-2" mean?

For the extra Carenado and IniBuilds addons? No thanks. I'll bring my payware with me.

Here's what the Microsoft Store listing says:

Quote

The Aviator Edition includes everything from the Premium Deluxe Edition plus the entire fleet of 30 Microsoft-published Marketplace aircraft developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator between 2021 and 2024.

But yes, there is no reason to buy this version if you've already purchased any MS-published aircraft you were interested in, as they will carry over. There's a few I haven't bought but I'd be willing to consider, which is why I'd like to see a full list before I decide.

Always amazed that this response comes when initially someone thought it is of any interest why he aims only for the standard edition... You see the absurdity of your attack? It is a forum, GSalden made his decision public here and with this, he must get along with potential feedback on his communicated decision. If you do not get along with such things, internet forums might not be the place for you...
