That is my opinion. When the "eye Candy" fever passes, let's see what real advances there are in physics, Meteo, etc.

I was gifted a few items in my current PC. Without it, I would have struggled to purchase everything required to build it. That was nearly five years ago, and my PC was nowhere near top end even back then. Since I have no interest in the default aircraft, and (like Gerard has already pointed out) the Standard Edition will include 150 of those 160 upgraded airports, why exactly should I waste over £100 on items that I am probably never going to use? That money can be put to better use on a number of additional payware airports that I actually want.

Think outside of the box is the only thing I will say here and while I agree with you that the fundamental components of aviation should be dialed in 100%, if they have teams that can deliver the non-aviation pieces, then bring it on.

I agree with that. Need hard confirmation. Will possibly come on the 25th.

Has anyone managed to pre order it from outside the U.S? i.e. UK? I got as far as filling in my address but the only areas available were U.S. states.

Of course I was not directing my zynical statement to you 😉 But lets be honest, considering the amount of hours we spend with this sim, even 300 bucks would be a bargain. Every beer with a friend on a Friday afterwork event is more expensive in this aspect 🤣

According to IGN you’ll be able to walk in the aircraft cabins and the passengers will speak languages appropriate for the flight. For example doing a flight between Germany and the US, you’ll hear mostly English and German

Eventually MSFS 2024 will be solid but I am very skeptical that the early releases will come close to the hype. Fortunately 2020 is working pretty good so no rush.
