  • Then don't buy it. Doesn't matter to me. I loved the world airport portal in XP because it was so much better than anything developers could do. I'm happy MSFS is going that direction. I don

  • I did notice repeating grass textures ☹️   I did notice repeating posts re. repeating grass textures 😄

  • Most of XP’s default airports were “crowd sourced” - i.e. created/modified by end-users who use the WED scenery editor in conjunction with the Scenery Gateway, which has been in operation for many yea

Me also, it does seem to take forever to  get ready though.

By 'you have been selected' doesn't that mean 'your application to join all the other thousands who applied for the tech preview option has been processed'?

If you WERE selected on merit or by random lottery I humbly bow down to you sir 😁

Hi,

Tried after following all the info in the email, all I get is I'm too early when pressing the play button.

UPDATE: I have it downloaded. Time to have a look.

Watching all these previews, I can't see anywhere how to set RVR or visibility values under WX options. One would expect to have this option available for a flight simulator.

How's the speedtape issue when you use DLSS?

Edit: or in other words, ghosting when you use DLSS...

Absolutely idiotic that this wasn't in 2020 at launch, and really beyond comprehension that, after four years of having it explained to them, they've left it out of 2024.  2020 has been a fun game and I imagine 24 will be as well, but it's pretty difficult to take the software seriously as any kind of simulator when it's STILL missing something so basic!

Yes!!!

Thank you.  I'd have completely missed that but I'm in!  I wasn't accepted to the 2020 build so it's caught me by surprise.
