If you didn't get to see the Alpha, it looks like this.

He was flying in an area where there has been no special graphics applied, just normal default scenery. I saw pretty much the same thing in the Alpha.

Not impressed by the videos, not enough to jump from my modded MSFS 2020 build yet.

which has nothing to do with DX12, but new clouds and atmospheric lighting. they would look the same with DX11.

3) "The G1000, G3000 or whatever it is" 🤣

nothing new but the usual waffle we get from youtubers who jump in without preparation and hardly any editing. 4 more weeks and we'll know everything there is to know.

at least he had lots of fun, and that's great.

The transitions around the distant lighted/less cloudy areas...really looked good too.

For me it was a blurry terrained, stuttery mess on 150mb internet and a 3080.  I went back to FS2020 by the Sunday.  Tech alpha and all that but I wasn't very impressed.

The Tech Alpha was missing a lot of visual features.

More YouTube click bait nonsense.

This is NOT the finished product. What is seen in the Alpha release doesn't speak to what the finished product will look like!

Also everyone has the ability to change graphic settings.

Waiting for the product release will be far more prudent then wasting time looking at the YouTubers!

Forgot if anyone mentioned/showed this before.. for those of you who used the tech alpha, did you guys see any cirrus clouds in live weather?

Yup, looks stellar. Time will tell but I think Asobo's in a good spot.
