November 19, 20241 yr Cloud Based AI game with no install. This is a nightmare, we are given our fates to cloud and servers from 2024 and on. We need a base installation!! And with that I mean those potentially 100's of Gigs of data. In the meantime, we wanted to give users at least something, even if it's quite simple and mostly useful in GA scenarios. -Matt
November 19, 20241 yr Yeah, there is a lot wrong with this release. I can't get free look to work in my Cessna. Worked fine in the tech alpha. Also, something is making my view slowly pan to the left which makes me have to reset the view every so often.

November 19, 20241 yr So far been GA flying for about a couple of hours. Did fly over and saw my new shop/garage. Trip through grand canyon since I missed the tech alpha. Did crash loading Manhattan, and am waiting to fly, but company dropped in unexpectedly.
November 19, 20241 yr One day at Steam HQ the group decided to call the installed folder Steam. Meanwhile over at MSFS HQ someone raised his hand and said, "Lets call it _8wekyb3d8bbwe ! "Yes"!, shouted all the others in agreement immediately. With Steam, there is no disappearing MSFS2020 and so forth. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
November 19, 20241 yr Stuck at 0%... But there's a silver lining to this cloud: This release is apparently successful well beyond Microsoft's expectations, which should bode well for the future of the franchise.
