I normally fly my PCL VR headset now again in 2024, like I used to do in 2020. Since 571.96 I can crank up the visual options in MSFS and Pimax play.

Oh my, the ground textures are massively improved!  Couple of videos below, both using SU1 Beta, DLSS 4 Quality & DLAA.  Those who like a sharp image - get now! First is south East of San Die

  • Thanks to all for their valuable input. Just did another flight MSFS2024 1.2.11.0 with good result. Strangely, I have the feeling my GPU is less stress but the visual quality is very good, with MSFS S

  • Today’s DLSS4 video from IslandSimPilot: Only a few hours left to install the pre-release stuff until everything goes live tomorrow 😊 He recommends disabling the auto-optimize opti

You guys convinced me and I'm trying the new driver 😄

Kinda low stakes though - it's easy to roll back so at worst you lose like 20 min max. Not like I'd need to reinstall Windows or something.

I have set everything up according to the instructions. I also installed the advance copy Driver. However, my system would crash every time I tried to bring it up UNTIL I fell back to the NCP. I have the regedit change it says everything it should. But I am confused as to the urgency or need for the advance copy NCP in order for any of this to work.

Thanks .......

Just wait a few more days for the official release if things are breaking. Not worth investing time trouble shooting - just wait ~2 days.

Everything seems correct to me on my system. I just didn't know if DLSS 4 will work with the current NCP or does it need the new one to function? That is my question.

I’m using it without the nvidia AP, works fine.

Working fine for me as well. Installed the driver, used DLSS Swapper, and set J and it all just works.

From personal experience, downloading drivers from websites other than the Nvidia website can cause your sim to crash regularly. I downloaded an older driver from a website that caused routine sim failures. Fortunately, no issues with the advanced DLSS4 driver. If it causes issues, I’ll remove it and wait until the official version comes out.

A possible solution is to run “Clean Disk”‘to get rid of any file that conflicts with the DLSS4 driver.

Good luck.

Well, i had a similar issue: All is working in 2024 but 2020 did CTD. So i went back to 566.36 and dlss 3.8.10 only for 2020 and all is running good. For some reason the Cuda driver 2020 doesn.t like it. I will wait until the official driver comes out on thursday. But in 2024 i can say WOW! from avarage 65 fps to 100 fps with everything maxed out. Very nice. Almost no ghosting with quality.

Pure Power 12 M 1000W//Monitor: LG 37,5 L 38WP85C-W//Hotas Joystick: Velocity One Flightdeck//Keyboard: Logitech G213 Prodigy

Installed the new dlls files, installed the new CUDA driver and changed the MSFS2024 profile to J using Nvidia Inspector.  Before I could run DLAA in some areas but mostly DLSS quality but all I am seeing now is poor performance and stutters.  It does look a little clearer but not enough to warrant the performance hit for me.

Have I missed anything?

Edit: Deleting and rebuilding my rolling cache, shader cache and DX cache seems to have resolved and all looks like it is running well now.  Maybe worth anyone else having problems giving this a go.

The new 4 DLSS work good here with my 3080 and FG (dlssg-to-fsr3), almost no ghosting, clearer image at quality level.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).
