That should be the goal but not for logbook training but for entertainment/learning purposes. Edited January 24, 20251 yr by JBDB-MD80

Just flew over Central park, and instead of the tons of trapezoidal green boulders purporting to be trees, the whole park is now full of actual trees. Buildings and textures are crisp all over..... Their kids were filling in for them and running the show and they loved triangle trees round buildings. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. January 24, 20251 yr Had just 5 min to test, but it's easy to notice the improvements ! Great ! There's one aspect of the FS 2024 installation that I haven't yet glimpsed how to tackle with without having to use an app - installing into a different folder. I have the whole xBox base and some system replica folder like "Program Files" placed in my F: folder, but that's because I configured it in the xBox App settings, but this is not exactly as I recall it was possible in FS 2020 where we could actually have the core install sent to the default xBox "C :" but the "Packages" with it's "Community" and "Official" (now "Official2020" and "Official2024" folders) in a different disk / partition... During FS 2024 installation there's no option to point the installation to a specific folder. How do you guys do it? Not really a big problem, because FS 2024 installs rather smoothly and fast, but I fear having to reinstall every time a new beta cycle ends and the stable version becomes pushed into my disk... Other than this, which is NOT a problem at all - FS 2024 is my BEST FLIGHT SIMULATOR EXPERIENCE EVER !!! having already outperformed the previous top of my list - MS FLIGHT. A sidenote: There'e probably some internal decision on the way they communicated this update, without any hype, even with fixes that are implemented not being announced. Their way of communicating looks a bit more "low profile"... Not that it was much different before, but I like surprises, specially when they are good, and lately FS 2024 is giving me more "very good" surprises than ever before I have experienced with a flightsim. Really looking fwd into SU2 !!! I'm a PROUD BETA GUY now !!! (Hey!!! C'mon !!!! I said --> GUY <-- !!! 😜) Edited January 24, 20251 yr by jcomm Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

So one point more to go over to MSFS2024 but i still will wait some more time, maybe the whole year 2025 to go in a allmost perfect working MSFS2024 because i still love my MSFS2020 !! January 24, 20251 yr Honestly, since I don't have big issues in current sim, I won't. Everything, for me, seems to be working fine. I have no blurry terrain, I have no FPS issues, I see very little funny trees or builds, or I simply don't care much. The issues that I do have, are not on the list.
