March 30, 20251 yr Nice video about CP. One of the most interesting things about it is just those fly-by views and the Tower views. CP is on my wishlist, only waiting for it to be a little more stable. Seems to me it still needs some more touches from P42 Cheers, Ed MSFS2020 Steam // Rig: Corsair Graphite 760T Full Tower - ASUS MBoard Maximus XII Hero Z490 - CPU Intel i9-10900K - 64GB RAM - MSI RTX2080 Super 8GB - [1xNVMe M.2 1TB + 1xNVMe M.2 2TB (Samsung)] + [1xSSD 1TB + 1xSSD 2TB (Crucial)] + [1xSSD 1TB (Samsung)] + 1 HDD Seagate 2TB + 1 HDD Seagate External 4TB - Monitor LG 29UC97C UWHD Curved - PSU Corsair RM1000x // Thrustmaster FCS & MS XBOX Controllers
March 30, 20251 yr I give--when does this thing come out for the general public? I remain stunned this was not in 2020 and Day 1, let alone 2024! I mean EVERYONE loves this simple thing and I find it hard to understand how/why it was not present at launch. We need time to find all of the issues we didn’t discover internally and we need time to fix them. This is what we are doing now. Having 50000 people all starting to use the product on day 1 would result in something akin to the MSFS 2024 launch. Nobody wants that. Delete all existing views using Ctrl+Alt and import the new ones. Aha, didn’t realise I could do that. That’s working beautifully. Thank you.
March 30, 20251 yr Finally caved and bought enough stuff to qualify for Club 42 so I could get my grubby paws on Chaseplane. Great stuff. Just as useful as in P3D, and copying views to similar aircraft is a snap. Edited March 30, 20251 yr by Alistair Logie
March 31, 20251 yr Well my only complaint about CP is that it is about 4 years too late for MSFS2020. If it had been a day 1 (or even day 180) release it would have been an instant purchase but over the intervening years I have developed my own system for custom camera views and accompanying controller assignments that largely replicate what I had in CP with P3D4/5. I assume that most of these assignments would conflict with CP in MSFS2020 so it would mean starting all over again when setting up custom camera views - in my case a non trivial task. However, I can see the point of CP when it comes to MSFS2024 which I am yet to install (waiting for the general release of SU2). Bruce Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
March 31, 20251 yr Question for @Keven Menard. What's the best forum to provide ChasePlane MSFS 2020 feedback?

You can leave your ideas in our feedback form (http://parallel42.com/feedback) but if you want to get live feedback on an issue or question, our Discord (https://discord.gg/dvhpEdf) currently has a section dedicated for CP. Have a look at the website: ChasePlane Ths image clearly shows settings for Tower and Fly By. I used this for FSX and it was brilliant and surely must have improved over time - A day one buy for me.
April 1, 20251 yr FWIW, just on a 2024 flight to see the latest changes over there and really missing Chaseplane already.
