You had to do that manually. Which is good. Bear in mind you can't assign a button to CP and MSFS view at the same time without conflict so the MSFS button assignments needed to be removed first. The new version might be different. The legacy would supplement the view system instead of disabling it. It was so good though you'd never use default again. The transitions for a start.. March 19, 20251 yr PSA: I thought I'd try something clever and purchased a $42 gift card from Parallel 42 to see if it gave me access to Club 42. I intended to use some of the card's value to purchase Chaseplane. It didn't work. 😁 To be clear, I was fully aware I was kinda gaming the system and am absolutely fine that it didn't work. I'll just have to wait for the general release like everyone else. Edited March 19, 20251 yr by Alistair Logie

March 20, 20251 yr So when it comes to watching replays of your landings...does it automatically record, lets say, the previous 60 seconds of flight, or automatically from passing below a certain altitude...or do you need to manually start recording each time before you land? ...and what is the biggest difference between this recorder and something like FCR? Like you load your recorded flight file and then Chaseplane would allow you to see that replay from tower view as an example? I would hold off a bit as its just release to certain users.

I have the exact same number of subscribers as the YouTuber you’re recommending, so I ask myself: Do I know this addon? Yes. Have I been using it forever? Yes. Could I live without it in Prepar3D? No. Have I been dreaming since 2020 of finally seeing it in MSFS? Absolutely. Do I need a YouTuber’s opinion to decide whether to buy an addon? NEVER. And if I were just now discovering ChasePlane? Is there any YouTuber who speaks freely, with honesty, even at the cost of losing subscribers rather than betraying their true opinion? I answer myself: I only know one. After asking these questions, I buy the addon following my instinct. Because taking risks is what pilots do! P.S. Only Angels Have Wings!
March 21, 20251 yr In MSFS2020, with the default showcase view, the aircraft and horizon rotates over a period of time, i.e., it doesn't stay still. May I ask those who are using ChasePlane in MSFS2020 if this still occurs or not? Best regards, Peter
