  • Why does everything have to be a drama?

  • Gosh... where to start? I guess the situation is that there are quite a few of us who use the sim without any major issues. IMO (I've used it since Nov 19 and not used 2020 during these 3 months) - it

DLSS version v310.2.1 and Preset K still intact, but as usual DLSS-G got downgraded again back to DLSS-G v3.7.10, according to Nvidia watermark on my pc.

I don't understand why DLSS swapper tells a different story re. the FrameGeneration DLL version though,  showing the newer version 310.2

C185 yeah baby!!!

Flies pretty well, reasonable sounds, no AP.  Stick and rudder guys!  (Though I think with sim attachments method I could add in a AP and or GTN 650xi to swap out the 430 - need to learn more about the method)

Skis, floats, tundra, normal and wheel pants

Only had time for a 10 minute circuit, but it feels great, very weighty.

Is there a trick to getting the Garmin unit to turn on? Mine remains dark, even with the avionics master on.

My Garmin is on but it is too bright at night. Also noticed the trim is inverted on this one.

Lol, you were right.

It appears the range function is INOP. Can the unit be swapped out with a payware version?

I also had that issue with the range showing "overzoomed" and being unable to fix it, but after landing and messing around with it it started working and it's fixed now. Weird. Still have the brightness problem at night though. Isn't yours too bright at night?

I haven't tried it at night yet.

Interesting experience you had with the range. I'll see if I can replicate it somehow.

I found range can be adjusted with mouse wheel with pointer over the buttons, but not simply clicking the range buttons.

The usual wannabe software project managers around here don't still seem to be able to grasp a simple concept: as time draws closer to release the deltas in fixes/enhancements from driver to driver will indeed be less. And that's expected as the codebase stabilizes.

And of course you also have the similarly clueless with the usual logical fallacy where when the developer provides a list of changes (in this case via various drivers of SU1 so far), of which some are trivial or low-hanging fruit, then the big outcry "omgee they are not focusing on serious stuff because they did <trivial feature/fix X> !!" 🤣
