That's great about the ATC and 737Max issues WT have worked on! Welcome all the avionics update goodness too.

I think a lot of the issues stem from addons. An internal QA team will test a completely clean install to make sure nothing obvious breaks out of the box. Afterwards it's exactly what the public beta

Just a heads up all, additional release notes containing the stuff we (WT) did for this currently available SU2 release are now available at https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sim-update-2-beta-1-4-

Actually no, but I did notice you posted without mentioning how incompetent Asobo is 😆

Just few the Cessna Sky Courier and the G1000 was all messed up (see pic), also note the Airplane icon has gone back to a Dot when this was fixed for the first SU2 beta patch (IIRC)

FS2020_20250331_202235_R.jpg?ex=67ec4873

Performance on the ground was hideous, single digits until I got 20feet in the air then it was smooth as butter until landing when it went back to complete rubbish. VRAM was through the roof, guess Asobo never fixed that issue for SU2 like they said they would (unless it'll be in a future patch of course).

Anyway SU2 is getting there and overall it's becoming a decent step in the right dircetion, still amazes me how Asobo can't code Mouse usage properly though, it's like the first thing you learn at Coding School on day one yet on they struggle! Still I've enjoyed a few flights recently, plenty more to come.

Yes, it seems to me any fiddling with control assignments is noticeably slower at the moment.

Having said that sim performance in SU2 is fantastic.

No issue with FPS here

and other people in this very thread have reported less VRAM usage than SU1

Maybe you have a conflict going on, or some odd combination of things

I’ve not seen those reports myself but I believe you if you say you have seen them.  What I have seen is more frequent than desired vram warnings and stutters in a sim that up till this SU, never gave such a warning, or at least never to me.

🙄 Sigh maybe you've missed reports from other people still seeing high VRAM usage and low FPS on the ground.

Me as well. I read somewhere somebody saying that the voices were bad, but I suspect they simply had the headphone simulation turned up too high, as the voices are actually quite clear,

People seem to want to whisper sweet nothings to their cabin crew in a soft Flemish accent while being routed straight into a Ryanair 737.  The rest of us use FSHud.

What do you mean with AI...? That abbreviation is used for various things on this forum. The people who replied seem to think you were talking about ATC: I am not sure why... I have the idea you are talking about traffic but I'm not sure. In case you indeed are talking about traffic: I use AIG for the models and BATC to inject them into MSFS2024.
