Fenix.... never change.

Months of silence, then a video that speaks of a release on Tues- or Wednesday and then release one day earlier on a Monday.

That's how it's done. 👏

Unless you are PMDG, then you build up hype for months, speak of nearing beta and 9 months later still have not released a thing... 😆

couple of weeks turned into 4 months but sure that's how its done 😂

Based upon scale and size a four month slip ain’t t be unexpected at all. How’s those 737 updates working for you?  Not the iFly. The “the other guys”.

has anyone had issues with the Winwing MCDU and EFIS/FCU setup.

None of it is powering up for me at all... The other Airbus aircraft I have still functions as normal with them, ( and I flew just fine a couple of hours ago with the "old" Fenix and they worked... It just seems completely locked out of the new models.

Use this instead.

You will need to map your MCDU buttons - works for me.

thank you Jude, it worked by default for me with the previous version out of the box, so not sure what has happened there.

Major software change from Fenix, WINWINGS / SimApp Pro needs to catch up.  I bet it will b updated in 48 hours or less

I am guessing that Winwing will need to update simapppro?

Looks and sounds and peformance is great and VRAM usage (in MSFS24) is down an appreciable amount, however, none of the seven segment displays work and I can't turn on the EFB to change that (I think the video said something about that being an option depending on your screen resolution?) so mixed bag for me, will try to reinstall

It's under "FCU Readouts" in the EFB. Legacy is the old method - I tried the new one but that renders them blank for me (I guess that's why they made it optional!).

The EFB should not be impacted by that option though, so there may be something else going on for you.

Yikes, this is an unfortunate turn of events. Winwing is not known for doing thing’s quickly. It might take them a few weeks to update it.

Agree, I just wanted to check I had not broken anything. As a games dev by trade, I tend to break everything I touch 🙂 So thought it was me 🙂

Yep. Saw someone had suggested a Mobiflight profile.  Haven’t tried it yet, nor this one but since variety is the spice of life…another one to try

EDIT:  Tried this one first.  Seems to work exactly like and as well as SimApp Pro  YMMV  TANSTAAFL

They are a pain to use and don’t work well at all with the dimming and brightness functions of the FCU/MCDU that SimAppPro is able to do.

It's fine. Just switch to Mobflight for the time being. I did the same after someone recommended this as a step on discord and it just works the same.

You have choice: Use your hardware now with Mobiflight and live with the shortcomings or wait until WinWIng updates SimAppPro.

Nah, I’m done with Mobiflight.
