July 27, 2025Jul 27 Ok ummmm... wow. And taking proper advantage of the MSFS 2024 sim platform and its capabilities, I'm sure this is just the beginning. Definitely setting (and raising) the standard for what it means to develop a very high fidelity aircraft for a modern sim platform. Ok now please do an A330, and the A340/A350/A380 while you're at it 🙂 Edited July 27, 2025Jul 27 by lwt1971 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD

The problem is because 2020 liveries come over weird into 2024 because of how the file structure changed. The BFU in 2024 is now a native plane, so the liveries will show up properly grouped, Now, the flip side to this is everyone who downloaded liveries from .to will need to wait for the livery creator to update them.

July 27, 2025Jul 27 I hope the good folks at Asobo see this video and make note of the SDK limitations Fenix had to circumvent. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
July 27, 2025Jul 27 The Fenix team really shows some of the new features of MSFS 2024, and why people will love the Fenix more on it. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
July 27, 2025Jul 27 I like that. No noise, no hype, no false and biased pre-release reviews by some so-called RL pilots. Working, working and working, and at the end, this talented team produces a masterpiece. Did I say that I like that ?? ☺️ Congrats, Aamir and Fenix team, you guys are truly awesome. - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.

July 27, 2025Jul 27 Will these fine add-ons now be available on the MP and in Xbox? If not, does anyone know what the barriers might be? Thanks. John Wiesenfeld KPBI | FAA PPL/SEL/IFR in a galaxy long ago and far away | VATSIM PILOT P2 i7-11700K, 32 GB DDR4 3.6 GHz, MSI RTX 3070ti, Dell 4K monitor

Barriers are features, that only work with injecting stuff in the sim via an external connector. Add-Ons need to run completely in the "sim sandbox" to be compatible to Xbox. I don't know if this changes in the future or with BFU, but Fenix (today) still requires an external application. Edited July 27, 2025Jul 27 by roesti

The Fenix runs external to the sim. That's the barrier on Xbox. Having said that, the next-gen Xbox could theoretically support it, since it will likely be a PC-console hybrid. No, Fenix’s systems among other things are powered by an external application. Xbox does not support these kind of executables. 7 minutes ago, roesti said: Barriers are features, that only work with injecting stuff in the sim via an external connector. The features themselves aren’t a barrier; it’s simply a design choice that Fenix is externally ran. This is why it can’t be on Xbox.
