Seems like Justflight just forgot to add the buy button...🥴

I contacted JustFlight about this matter and they responded that it will be available to buy tomorrow (1st September).

Yes and I couldn't find any manual that would explain these sliders !

At least they could have added tips for each parameter.

We have no default set of preset provided. only the ones from the community... but you don't clearly know what they do.

I see no automatic load and applying presets ?

That seems more a product for geeks 🙂

Bought it but bad choice for me...

Which is wiiiiiiiild! They had all this time to learn from their 2020 version that they didn’t even add automatic preset loading. Just bonkers.

So on the marketing blurb it has a photo with the sepia mask completely gone, on their website.

On purchasing this and having a play around in FS2024, I cannot for the life of me find where this is.  Or is it just a load of marketing falsehood?

Any raleigh scattering just seems to fog everything up, so it's unusable during the daytime.  I want to get rid of the sepia mask entirely and they have the screenshot on their website to "prove" it, but I'm just not seeing any option.

Anyone else had any luck?

"With REX Atmos CORE, users can adjust settings to eliminate the 'sepia mask' effect..."

That suggests to me there is no Sepia Mask option, just other ways of adjusting settings to remove it.

There IS automatic preset loading.  It was added by request and I have been using it.  I have been using all three AB presets.

I load the sim (to the flying stage), then start Atmos core, then about 10 seconds later it applies the settings from my last session.  I can see the colours change in front of my eyes - a vast difference, and I really like it.

@Langeveldt I don't know how you do it, but I have seen at least one preset in the public list with 'No Sepia' in the name.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

I am interested but got a silly question:

Is it changing the look only like nvidia filters (but by altering internal settings) or is it actually working witch weather injection?

Best regards

"

What It Is / What It Isn’t

  • Is: A real-time, physically-based system inside MSFS 2024 that changes weather/ atmosphere/lighting at the core level.
  • Isn’t: A surface-level post-processing Filter like ReShade or NVIDIA Freestyle.

Hmm - for $7.50 it's almost tempting... 🙂

Best regards,

Look for FlyBy Night preset from FlyBy in the shared Community Presets in Atmos Core.

I mean the price is low enough to simply try it out, but my opinion of REX as a developer is mixed.

I loved their Accuseason for MSFS. But other entries in their portfolio seemed less useful.

They often feel better at marketing and creating nice looking UI's instead of delivering software that is really not to be missed.

The moment someone tells me that he found a setting that suits him for all situations, including night and day and cloudy, bad weather as well as sunny skies, I am off to buy the product. But I am certainly not getting it if it means that I have to switch preset depending on the conditions I fly, way to cumbersome...
