Thank God.

Maybe i can finally get good use of the 777's. The sounds presently are too muted and generic sounding to be enjoyable in the current state. PMDG should have just had Boris do it in the first place.

I go a step further and click "Don't recommend channel' every time one shows up.  I will give Boris a pass on this one....but I still didn't watch it since I don't own the 777....

I just want to hear touchdown and rollout sounds in my 777F. Have PMDG even acknowledged that this is an issue for some users? I do not say stuff like that just for a laugh. I literally have no touchdown or rollout sounds at all. I just hope that the new sound set corrects this...

Another great incoming sound enhancement which should definitely improve overall flying experience on 777. I still don't understand why PMDG does not do great when it comes to sound, Neither of their default sounds are close to real thing as it can be. All PMDG do these days is blab-blab-blab about something which is completely irrelevant.

that's on you guys.  Because quite frankly the video is really well done.  It also gives a very nice sampling of what's involved with the new sounds.

They have not unfortunately. And when talking about sounds they are only mentioning the GE90 sound set which thank god for Boris because the GE90 was the only barely passable sound set of all three released lmao!

The sounds in that video are awesome and very realistic.  The 777F and -300ER stock sounds from PMDG are awful.  The -200ER is better but still bad.  For $15?!, this will be a day 1 buy for me.

No worries, that was exactly my impression when I saw your video and I guess most people felt the same. A Little bit fun is allowed 😉

And at the same time, I think even if it's "serious", it's just how marketing works today. I'm by myself not a big fan of clickbait titles or thumbnails, but it's how the world works if you want to "play by the rules" of YouTube alogrithm etc. There are many channels I enjoy to watch who make use of "dramatic" titles, though the content still remains interesting and professional.

Nothing to worry about, just the way it is now. You'll see if a video is worth to continue watching after a few seconds into it regardless of titles / thumbnails.

Anyway: Thank you for your work, it's great and you are very talented. I'm certain your soundpack will be worth it.

Same issue here on MS20. Have not used the 777 in months cause of this. Boris is the medicine needed for the cure.

Does anyone having audio issues have Pause at TOD enabled?  

I had loss of audio when taxiing but in my case it was only at DDKEWR and it turns out DDKEWR had its own terminal sounds included with the scenery.  I think MSFS has some sort of audio cap on the number of files it can play because I haven't had any issues since removing the scenery sounds.  I now check every scenery to see if they have included sounds and remove them.  

Also, if you do not have 3.1 or higher make sure you have Stereo set in sound options.  I notice a LOT of the 777 sounds come from my center channel in my 5.1 setup. 

Developing an aircraft and sounds are totally different beasts.  Sounds are an animal all their own.  I believe PMDG used to have a top notch sound specialist but I believe he left years ago although I could be wrong.  

Just because you can develop a good aircraft means nothing in regards to sounds, although they are of course tied to the aircraft they really are a separate dev process to the rest of the plane... 

Looking forward to this pack! PMDG sounds have been awful for ages. 

Yup first day buy for me the 737 sounds are epic.

I would not worry too much, there is just some OLD grumpy souls around here that will complain about anything. Pretty sad IMO. Sounds are excellent if you ask me.
