For me, the Fenix A320 is the gold standard when it comes to lateral path drawing and following (LNAV). I'm not in a position to tell if the handling is accurate. I like to call it *convincing*. The thing does what I would expect from a real world aircraft. None of the things I pointed out earlier happen in the Fenix A320. The same is true for the autothrust handling. They even further improved that in one of the latest updates, and it was already pretty good. No erratic spool ups or spool down, just very convincing. The one thing that is lacking in the Fenix is the VNAV, and as you may have heard, they are reworking it completely. If that turns out to be as good as their LNAV and AT, the Fenix is going to be bliss in the auto flight department. cheers, NiIs U.AMD 5800X3D | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz | RTX 4070 12GB @ 1920x1050px
December 5, 2025Dec 5 Recycling the same old soup isn't my ideal sim target, I paid 60 bucks for the forgotten DC6, no more randazzian old soups here. Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

However, your last point….i had the real thing do this exact same thing to me on my last trip. Annoying as all heck. Anyways, I really hope they don’t give us the same stuff just moved over to 2024. IT WILL BE , PMDG delay releases to try and fool people into thinking its a new Build that's taken a year to make so they can charge you multiple times for the same product , they must think most of us came down in the last shower . PMDG fans fall for it as they have PMDG up high on a pedestal so are blindsided and think they are the same PMDG of FSX/P3D days, yes back then they where no1 but not now. Jason Richards

This vid gets into some of the specifics, and from what I can see, they're far more than skin deep: Sure, maybe the changes you desire aren't there, but there's a lot of "meat" in this upgrade in terms of systems and physics (and graphics, like opening windows and cabin doors, etc.). Not saying you have to be in love with the upgrade, or that it'll be paid, but c'mon, man...! I like watching A330 Driver but when it comes to him reviewing anything PMDG im very skeptical as hes part of the Beta testing team so he never says anything negative about PMDG hes like a salesman for PMDG Edited December 5, 2025Dec 5 by jason74 Jason Richards

For better or worse, the “rinse & repeat” of the same 737 variants continues now from MSFS2020 into MSFS2024. I wish they bring out another Boeing such as the 757/767 with their expertise, or even their good old classics, the MD-11 or the JS41, for MSFS… Oh well… Cheers and happy flying…!

I would love to be proved wrong, but as far as PMDG is concerned (and with respect to sales forecasts), this is in the same boat as the MD-11.
