December 8, 2025Dec 8 Just a quick question. Not sure how everyone else feels but if you are going to make available your new plane to the streamers don't keep us waiting more than a few days.. it's difficult to resist looking but ultimately I get upset that we can't play ourselves and then I dont care so much and maybe I won't bother .. Fenix just drop their new update and its like Christmas comes all at once..... H

December 8, 2025Dec 8 Making this up as I have no clue, but maybe something delayed SU4 last week which then impacted PMDG. In fairness, they do usually launch the same week as the streamers.
December 8, 2025Dec 8 Just my conspiracy theory with no actual info - The response from the community was not as good as they hoped when they released the previews, and perhaps the price they wanted to charge may not have gone down well... In any case, we'll all only know when they release. The product is quite good, even if you feel(like I do) that it's no longer state of the art. It is objectively a good product and performs great. And it's the only option for most Boeing planes barring the Max, so they can pretty much do what they want. Couldn't agree more... the hype they were expecting simply wasn't there. iFly also came up with the SP1 preview, which honestly looks very good. Matej Stavanja

December 8, 2025Dec 8 If I were narcissistic, I would of course recognize that TODAY is a bad day to put MYSELF in the spotlight. 😉 'It is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.'
December 8, 2025Dec 8 The rumours I heard were that the impressions PMDG got from streamers and their audiences weren’t so hot so they are doing tweaks on the model and textures, and adding the newer CMS. Take it with a grain of salt though.
December 8, 2025Dec 8 Audiences saw just how thin this paid update is and PMDG felt pressured to at least add a couple more things
December 8, 2025Dec 8 Author I think the question is just that we all love to see a preview but to see certain streamers post 4 videos in quick succession it's as if the magic has been shared by a select few and then be told oh they are adding some new features... Of course you can avoid the videos but for me personally the magic of discovering the new item together has been lost somewhat. It was the same as driving to the video store and discovering the new film is on the shelf... Fenix just drop the update and it's so much more exciting personally but maybe you don't mind the longer wait... H

I believe he just throws a dart on the wall. People still waiting on the GFO release…🙄🤣 Edited December 8, 2025Dec 8 by B777ER Eric
December 8, 2025Dec 8 It's just a tradition. Soon™ - think about where it comes from. Soon™ makes time relative. Soon™ is the little bit slowness we still have nowadays Soon™ means between next month and next year. Enjoy the seasons between Take Soon™ as the main product from PMDG. They do not sell addons. They sell us Soon™ Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

H Personally I'd rather they (whoever the publisher is) just release their aircraft / updates to their paying customers first, rather than give to influencers to try and hype the product beforehand. At the end of the day, we know the product / update is coming and I am happy to wait for the final product to be released for me to use.
