So first flight with the A380 - and I love it. It's in an astonishingly well state, even more so considering it's iniBuilds. It feels so good when handflying or taxiing. It's pure fun

In that limbo land for a new release - is it good enough straight out of the box, or are there sufficient things that need fixing such that it's worth waiting for the 1st update?

I was hesitant because I was unsure about purchasing from the marketplace, but decided I could not wait for 3 months for it to appear in the IniManager.

I purchased and installed, downloaded a livery, loaded in to set up my controls and I guess do a basic walk-around, before doing my planning and setup of other apps (BATC, Volanta etc.), loaded back in to MSFS 24, took off and landed 14-odd hours later. I do not recall the stutters that are being reported by others in this thread (not saying they do not happen!), but for me the experience has been excellent.

I plan to carry out my second long-haul with it later today.

My advice is to go for it.

That was a stunningly good video! Watched it start to finish.

it might be related to the number of addons you have installed

If that is so, it might explain why I have yet to experience a single crash (I dont even know how it looks like) because - given my numerous addons - I am using Addon Linker and only keep active those addons I need for my flight. This would be worth and relatively simple digging into.

Er, not the same publisher. FSS own the eJets. IniBuilds owns the 380 and a host of other aircraft mostly good, a few not so good.

As I see it, FSS = Bush League amateurs. iniBuilds = Customer Focused innovators with amazing scope, capacity and capabilities.. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies,

ini has just publically asked for Embraer pilots to contact them. That's why CarlAnthony hopes for the E-Jets next

Ah, I see. Apologies to CarlAnthony if I misunderstood his post and if so, apologies for my haste. Blue skies,

Use AutoFPS with gradual decrease of TLOD, while you descend to any complex airport. My settings for TLOD are 300 to 50 from 5000ft to touchdown.

Can you show a screenshot of your autofps window?

For those wondering why some folks dislike the Marketplace: there was supposed to be an update for the A380 yesterday, but apparently it didn’t pass Microsoft’s console tests. Since those tests only happen on Mondays, the update may now be delayed by an entire week.

Sounds like it’s working as intended then; if it didn’t pass console tests, then a lot of the userbase would have been screwed.

Any differents in the downloaded version vs stream? Manual link?
