We want to share an important update regarding content available in the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 in-game Marketplaces.

Over time, we have received a significant amount of feedback from the community regarding products developed by Mscenery. After receiving a large number of complaints about the 1) low quality of Mscenery content, 2) lacking information in product descriptions and misleading images and 3) validity of high user scores, we have made the decision to stop offering Mscenery content for sale in the Marketplace, effective immediately.

For customers who have already purchased Mscenery products, please be assured that your existing purchases will remain accessible and usable as usual. This change only affects new sales of their content within the Marketplace.

We greatly value the feedback and engagement from the flight simulation community, and decisions like this are not made lightly. Your input continues to play a critical role in helping us maintain a high-quality and trusted Marketplace experience for all simmers.

MS' lawyer team probably had to cross all the Ts to ensure whoever was behind Mslopnery couldn't hope to successfully appeal the decision or sue.

Better late than never!

Absolutely low effort, low quality word not allowed on the marketplace. Glad they removed it! Let’s hope they won’t allow them to resurface as another name. I also hope this is a warning to other similar devs how this won’t be tolerated.

Yeah was gonna say it took long enough but then the red tape would've been a pain to go through, good to see some action on dealing with these quick buck "creators".

Next up they need to deal with the AI images used as marketing for products in the MP.

Better late than never, it was blatantly obvious they were gaming the ratings system. There is no way that many people purchased and gave 5-star reviews.

This has made my week.... such wholesome news.

MScenery were as close to a scam as you'd find, in the stores of a multinational software corporation.

I hope MScenery invested all their cash taken from unsuspecting simmers, because they won't be getting a penny more!

Isn't scenery creations the same people

Big respect for AvAngel calling out MScenery in one of her recent videos. It takes some guts as one of the top MSFS content creators to push back on something that was obviously making MS money. We'll never know how many gullible console users forked over real money for sub-FSX-freeware-quality aircraft, but hopefully the bad purchases won't keep those users away from the many great marketplace products.

MS/Asobo really need to follow this up with new marketplace rules: No AI-enhanced product images and no review manipulation.
