Engine RPM is no longer updated internally while disengaged and can be controlled externally via GENERAL_ENG_RPM SimVar.Updated FREEWHEELING_UNIT_ENGAGED to use one-based engine indexing and index 0 for all engines.Model BehaviorFixed typos in ASOBO_Bool_Visibility_Parameters. When rebuilding a package with the lastest version of the behaviors, update usages as follow:Replaced VISIBILTY_IE_VARIABLE with VISIBILITY_IE_VARIABLEReplaced VISILITY_L_VARIABLE with VISIBILITY_L_VARIABLEModular AircraftFixed default dynamic parameter value for preset and common panel.cfg VPainting definition. When no override has been provided in the livery.cfg the dynamic parameter value will now use the locally defined value in the DynamicParameters section instead of not replacing the parameter. While this lets the developer correctly provide a default VPainting color and allow override in the livery this could change the default color from white to the specified one if a configuration was specified (as it was previously unused)MissionsMedevacFixed the holdshort marker position after a rerouteAirportsBespoke AirportsFixed Mast lights not removed on some beskope airportsVirtual RealityFixed the “global rendering quality” sub-menu from the Virtual Reality panel not being accessible.PeripheralsVarious Peripheral FixesFixed T.Flight Hotas 4 and T.Flight Hotas 5 (PS4 compatibility mode) showing unused inputs by the peripheral in hardware and action settings.DevModeProject EditorFixed “Save as” option not working properly.Scenery EditorFixed invalid object type kept selected when switching to regular scenery edition.Added a movement sensitivity threshold to gizmo movements to avoid unwanted microscopic movements while clicking on the gizmoFixed drag and drop issues, especially when trying to drag an unselected objectSDKSimConnectFixed O/I variables not able to be queried if the target component is defined in the interior or exterior model instance instead of an attachment.Added ability to scope O:PATH:TO::VARIABLE to a specific attachment by alias using the syntax O:PATH:TO:COMPONENT@alias:VARIABLE, interior can be targeted using the alias interior, exterior using the alias exteriorSimVarsAdded SIMVAR_TITLE to the list of supported simvars for FakeSim. Thursday at 03:43 AM5 days I guess these are good fixes and sdk updates, but really wondering when will new features be added in SU updates? Most people seem to be getting pretty good performance and VRAM use has improved. Been a long time since new features it seems. Glad for the updates but been a long time since there was an exciting or major immersion changing improvement / feature. I also wonder, will there be an MSFS 2028? or is the plan to just keep gradually updating MSFS 2024? Just wondering what the next major / groundbreaking improvements / features are coming or if that is being held back for the next edition of MSFS. What thoughts do you have? Troublesome LOD issues still remain, texture steaming is an over the place, performance is still hit and miss depending on each players system and gaming scenario etc etc.Hopefully, fingers tightly crossed, that SU7 onwards we start to see actual proper progression of this simulator - starting with the weather, but I would not be surprised if they announced the "Next Title" within the next year! I'm not overly confident of any weather changes going on the last Q&A where they did the usual "what bugs?" and shrugged it off, but I live in hope! None in the EFB or in the PMS GTN 750!From the official forum: It’s been reported in a dedicated thread on this forum as well as Working Title has acknowledged that they’re aware, so I expect it will be resolved in a future beta build. In the meantime I'm using the msfs flightplanner charts. Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).
3 hours ago3 hr this is the first build ever since I started to enter the public beta process which constantly crashes MSFS2024. Sometimes when the first inital loading screen comes up (when the seconds are counted bottom right), giving me a meaningless error message (funnily enough when I start via XBOX app that does not happen). but latest after flying about 30-60mins the sim locks or causes a hard crash/CTD. happens with any of my planes, 3rd party but also Asobo planes. Will skip flying now until the next beta comes.... Will skip flying now until the next beta comes....That's simply crazy about your issues. Since the release of the last beta update, I've flown over a dozen flights using 3rd party aircraft. Mostly PMDG and Fenix and SWS. Not one issue or drop in performance and I've flown anywhere from 1.5 hours up to 5-hour flights. I also have AIG on with PG always on, live wx. Apparently, something in your system has gotten corrupted. Have you tried going back to the stable 2024 release and see if you still get the CTD's? Hope you can figure things out.
