I assume that "abandoning" means "actively working on" around here?

They’ve confirmed the 744. The -8 is planned, but they’re treating it as another addon this time rather than an expansion of the 744 as in p3d. As for “most anticipated”, nah - I’ve got the excellent

As for “most anticipated”, nah - I’ve got the excellent Flight Factor over on XP, so this BB is probably a skip for me.

But nobody has a proper 744 any longer, and it’s been a looong time. So that’s definitely my “most anticipated” airliner by far.

Ah thanks for that information I was mistaken! Really good news.

Yes, this aircraft is right in the sweet spot for me. Just enough "magenta" to see where I am going, but with some classic dials and gauges. Hopefully, everything can be done through the FMS, as I prefer it that way.

Latest post from their Discord, two days ago: "Thanks to SayIntentions we have SELCAL simulated. This is the last feature before release and as far as we know, it's the first airplane to have it for MSFS. I know a lot of people are eagerly waiting. We will keep you all updated as soon as possible. The majority of the work left is all of the backend items (website store, DRM, customer support, servers)."

This could be the longest, most drawn out a release of a product. At this point, the developers have set themselves up for anything less than perfection being received poorly by the community.

I get it, dragging out can get us annoyed. But being their first ever product, its good that they are taking their time to perfect that first product as it could be the image they carry for a while. Lets hope they actually do release a good product. Because if they took this long and dont, then the community will double down more than usual. Good luck

So this plane is coming to 2020 first right?

So how long before 2024 one is out? Another year?
