It's really nice. I have all payware and freeware addon regional and local airfields for central and southern Sweden (Karlstad, Örebro, etc, etc). I love flying here and hope one day to fly in Sweden for real. I'm a huge, obsessed fan of Wallander (Krister Henriksson version!) so want to visit Ystad and the wider Skåne County area 😎 I've visited Malmö during a city visit to Copenhagen (over the bridge on the train) but didn't get to see beyond Malmö city.

PS... I just watched some of your videos on your channel, including your landing into Borglanda - my last flight in the sim was from ESOW to ESMB. There's a lovely little freeware addon for Borglanda on FS.TO.

I guess I stay with Bijan due to one big reason, the reason I cant get along with default trees: the size. The default trees are just too tall, it looks so wrong when sitting on ground and when flying around in well known areas. Sadly, the BBD product seems not to really reduce the size that much resulting in a still not convincing appearance of too tall trees everywhere. Or at least in the three regions I quickly tested, Switzerland around Berne, Engiadina around Scuol. And Black Forest region. Here are some comparisons of Black Forest region, just note how waaaaay to big/tall the trees with BBD still are.

And now the same spot with the BBD trees. Just note how tall they are all, totally unrealistic imho.

Real bummer, because I do like the BBD appearance generally better.

Must admit, I like it. I've never used Bijan's stuff so I can only compare with default and for me its a subtle but noticeable change for the better.

Does anyone know how this addon interacts with the "Real Tree Size" addon by 4Simmers in the Marketplace? Should I disable that if I'm going to use the BB mod?

I'm afraid I have to agree with anyone stating the tree sizes may be a bit to much with EGV... I hadn't checked KTVL yet, but the trees next to the platform are huge! As bad as default... For now I reverted back to Bijan.

@AnkH I also have Bijan and I am sadly missing the larch tree Fall colors in higher European alpine regions (France, Switzerland, Austria).

Am I the only one with this absence of golden colors or do you have them around Scuol or Samedan?

Maybe BBD might be open to some feedback on the tree sizes. That would be good.

I also use BBD now with MsFs2024 and in general it is an improvement. I like the placing and diversity more than '24 standard trees.

Of course trees will be always considered as 'too high' since every MSFS tree is basically a huge Bonsai tree i.e. out of proportion. This can only be solved if the tree models become more like real trees but that will crash basically everybody's system with 10.000+ of leaves/needles per tree being created. Most of times the height of the trees is correct or even too short (!) when compared to the height of the real trees outside.

Well I've now flown in :-

• Sweden (central and southern)

• Norway (west coast and northern)

• Denmark (Jutland)

• UK (Northern England, Southern England, Scottish Highlands)

....and for me, I'm very happy with BBD and believe it looks visually superior to Bijan. Granted, I haven't been anywhere where photogrammetry causes a problem (that Bijan addresses and BBD does not).

To be honest, this is one of the best tenners I've spent on a MSFS addon.

Then you definitively have only huge tall trees where you live. I posted my screenshots, you cant seriously say that those BBD trees are correct in size. Also the conifers in Switzerland are generally way too tall with BBD, this looks simply wrong.

@ErnstB the BBD shows them. As I said, the visual appearance of the BBD trees is superior to those from Bijan, but they are simply too tall...
