Hi all, I've been trying to get the PA A319 working in P3D but am having some issues with the AP and AT. I need to investigate a little further but the issues seem to be as follows: Standard P3D flight planner not loading plan into the GPS. Autothrottle doing something but not operating correctly - it seems to throttle back but not back up again. Any ideas? I'm thinking it may be to do with something referencing the default FSX A321 (which is in P3D but unflyable as 'Commercial Airliner' right?) but am unsure how to fix. The A319 came from a large multi-livery download from SimViation.

Hi All, A week-end spent trying to reduce the popcorn cloud visuals in P3D and I think I've run out of juice. With all the test flights I took today in various aircraft as I was tweaking, this one stuck out from the rest for some reason. Climbing through FL220 heading towards KSEA. Enjoy! Mike

Project Airbus Wilco merge A380-800_v1.2.1 for FSX by David Chen (Dec. 2011)Notice:1. You MUST have Wilco A380 v2 installed first or this will not work properly.2. This merge is for FSX only. FSX SP2 or Acceleration pack is recommended.3. Wilco's load manager does NOT work, but configuration tool and key config tool work pefectly.4. Read the description below to know more about fuel planning (IMPORTANT).What is included in this package?1. A380 merge (Wilco panel + Wilco VC + Project Airbus model)2. GPWS sounds update3. FSBuild performance data (for those who uses FSBuild for fuel calculation)4. Performance data for those who uses Wilco tool for fuel planning5. Some useful documents of A380 (read description below). What's new?1. Autobrake problem fixed.2. Engine data modified.Fuel planning:Some people use Wilco planning tool to calculate the fuel they need. However, the Wilco's data are not realistic since the real world A380-800s consume more fuel than Wilco's calculation. So, it is recommended to use FSBuild (payware) for fuel planning. FSBuild performance data is offered for you. If you use Wilco's tool for fuel calculation, you MUST use another aircraft.cfg (follow item "D" in the part of "Installation").Documents description:There are some docs in this package, including:1. A380_Totorial_UK: An official tutorial from Wilco's website.2. AC_A380_20101101: Aircraft data from airbus.com. From page 106 to 136, you can find some useful performance data. For example, in page 116 you can find a chart to calculate takeoff distance. In page 129 is a chart of landing distance.3. spec_imperial and spec_metric: Aircraft limitation and information about weight and balance, fuel capability, etc.Installation:A. Aircraft merge1. Copy the .fx files (in "Effects" folder) to \Flight Simulator X\Effects.2. Copy "Project Airbus Wilco merge A380-800" folder to \Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes.3. Only Airbus livery is included in the package. Download more repaints from http://www.pairbus.com/B. GPWS sounds updateCopy all files in "sounds" folder to Flight Simulator X\Wilco\A380v2\Sounds and overwrite all existing ones.C. FSBuild performance data1. Open folder "FSBuild performance data"2. Copy A380.PRF to \Program Files\FSBuild\Aircraft3. Add following text into \Program Files\FSBuild\fsb_Aircraft.cfg.[A380-800 w/ Trent 972/B] --- (David Chen) ---WeightUnit=KGSOperEmptyWeight=276940PayloadWeight=80000ReserveFuel=:45AlternateFuel=HoldFuel=93/minTaxiFuel=25/minExtraFuel=ApproachFuel=330MaxTakeoffWeight=560000MaxZeroFuelWeight=361000MaxLandingWeight=386000MaxFuelWeight=257336ImageFile=PerformanceData=A380.prf;ToldData=;DefaultTOFlaps=;climb 250/300/m85;crz LR;dsc m82/300/250D. Performance data for Wilco fuel planning tool1. Open folder "Performance data for Wilco fuel planning tool"2. Copy the aircraft.cfg to \Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Project Airbus Wilco merge A380-800/ and overwrite.Known issue:ZFWCG cannot be calculated be FMGC. Instead, it remains 25%. But this would not matter in virtual flight simulation. Why not merge with Project Airbus A380's VC?Since PA's VC version is originally for FS2004, there are some problems when it is used in FSX. For example, some textures are black and some are loaded without correct position. Even some lights are not properly operating in either virtual cockpit or 2D panel. Due to these issues, I decided not to merge PA's VC now.Special thanks to:Project Airbus Develop TeamFor any problem, please contact me via davidchen9568@gmail.comHope you have a nice flight!

The mighty flying sea panda takes to the skies!! My rig does have some shortcomings - beautiful UK2000 scenery, plus UK Power project (numerous power stations & 46000 electricity pylons), plus loads of other airfields in the vicinity of London means the FPS was about 11 or so

So I just finished making a Royal Air Philippines A320 livery for FSX, but there's one problem. While I'm done at almost everything, all I need to do is to paint the winglets in the wing texture. But the psd file has just 2 layers, the whole wing and the wireframe. You see, the details of the wings and the background of it supposed to be seperated, just like the master fuselage paint kit, but it isn't. Instead, the detail of the winglets and the background is just in a single layer. So I need anyone to find a A320 Paint Kit with the details of the winglets and the white paint in the winglets seperated. I'm sorry if my english and grammar is bad. Thanks!!

So, after that short flight, I decided to continue flying around the US. This time, I took the Project Airbus A319 (yeah, I know, not as good as Aerosoft's, but much easier to fly for me) for a spin on Spirit's Flight 138 to Orlando. I also decided to give DX10 a go, and it was pretty good, though I got some kinda nasty graphic spikes from time to time once I took off. On the other hand, it runs very stable and FPS friendly, so I don't think my computer is THAT bad  Anyways, here are the pics. Hope you like them ^_^ Everything set, time for the tug to come in and push this baby bus back Taxiing to 9L Where's the horn? Off we go Climbing FL250 for this short 40 min flight 25 minutes later, we begin our descent into Orlando's 17L Short finals Almost Throwing the anker! Taxiing to stand 34 Almost there And that's it. Hope you'd enjoyed them guys! Thanks for watching. Hi Everyone, I have recently heard of Paro Intl. Airport and its cool procedures and terrain, so I thought it would be interesting to fly into there. I have been searching for this one for a long time. There was an iFDG A319 for Fs2004 which I converted to FSX format but was unable to merge a VC onto it. I tried to do a paint myself but I really have no personal experience on doing aircraft repaints. So it would be very kind of you to please do a paint on the "Project Airbus A319-115" in Drukair paint. (I don't mind if the registration is A5-RGF, A5-RGE, or A5-RGG) It does NOT have to contain a VC. Thanks a lot!

(FS Version: FS2004) I have been repainting the PA A320. Occasionally, the mid section (fuse_2) appears blurry. I have to zoom right in and then out again for it to sharpen up. It happens every time a change back to spot plane view and also whenever I switch between full screen and windowed screen. It is saved in the same DXT format as all the other texture files are (extended 32 bit 888-8). Any help would be much appreciated. See attached screenshot. Regards, George

Hi, I have P3D V3.2, and I have the PA A380 installed. It works great, except for the main panel. When I press shift+1, P3D pops up with a fatal error message and shuts down. This happens as well, when I press A in the cockpit to see the panel. I need this panel to switch from nav, to GPS. Any ideas? Thanks a lot Harry Karmel
