While I agree the single Buy button might appear like it's all one product the description above it clearly states they are separate products."To continue popular series of Pro Line products Captain Sim is pleased to introduce the 767 Captain family of expansions for FSX. The family includes the following five products: "

I am considering picking up the 767-200 expansion pack (I already got the CS 767-300 base pack in last year's mega sale) and was wondering if it is worth getting. I have the Level-D 767-3 also so I thought maybe another variant would add something. Would anyone shed some light or recommend this expansion pack?Cheers, Pete

I have the 200. I think it is a prettier airplane. It is commonly used in trans-US flights as part of American's "Admiral Flagship" program. It also has greater range. Of course it is going to be very, very similar to the 300, so it is really up to you if you want to add it to your hanger.

Thanks Tim! I think I will get it. At under $12 I suppose I can't go wrong.Cheers, Pete

I thought I would pass along a few tips, tweaks and goodies for new Captain Sim 757 owners. Not everyone has all or any of these issues, but if you do, these might prove helpful. I also have a step-ty-step gouge that might be helfpul. It isn't a tutorial (yet) but might be of help. Just PM me with your email and I'll send it to you. Also, be aware that in addition to the many free liveries, McPhat has some payware ultra-high def ones that are nice, available at their website. (They have some freeware ones, too, that are must-haves; you do have to register to download.)electric_always_available = 1 // paste into Electrical section of aircraft config file if APU shuts off during preflightSoundOffWhenSimIsSlew=0 // change from "1" in the sound.ini file (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Captain_Sim\757 (or \767)) if cockpit sounds and announcements don't work... if THAT doesn't work, some people have had to download msvcr71.dll and put it in their FSX main folder. It really seems to depend on your particular setup.Rename these 3 files (757idle.wav & x757cfm.wav & x757idle.wav) in the sound.PW and sound.RR folders // if engine sounds on in outside view when engines offput better texture folders into main CS_757 folder // improves night lighting... poke around on the CS boards for the source and ask nicely... the fix is an easy folder replacement, though unofficial :-)Shockwave 3D Lights for the 757:200 :[LIGHTS] //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing light.0 = 1, 0.70, 0.00, -3.90, fx_shockwave_beaconblight.1 = 1, 40.00, 0.30, 10.57, fx_shockwave_beaconh_nllight.2 = 9, 67.00, -2.00, 5.19, fx_vclightwhilight.3 = 10, 67.00, 2.00, 5.19, fx_vclightwhilight.4 = 5, 15.35, 7.35, 0.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrowlight.5 = 5, 15.35, -7.35, 0.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrowlight.6 = 7, -17.00, -55.00, 2.50, fx_shockwave_navredlight.7 = 7, -17.00, 55.00, 2.50, fx_shockwave_navgrelight.8 = 2, -19.00, -64.55, 6.60, fx_shockwave_strobe_llight.9 = 2, -19.00, 64.55, 6.60, fx_shockwave_strobe_llight.10 = 8, 13.40, -17.47, 3.40, cs757_edgelight.11 = 8, 13.40, 17.47, 3.40, cs757_edge light.12 = 5, 59.00, 0.00, -5.50, fx_shockwave_landing_light_doublelight.13 = 5, 82.50, 0.00, -2.00, fx_shockwave_landing_light_light*****300:[LIGHTS] //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing light.0 = 1, 0.70, 0.00, -3.90, fx_shockwave_beaconblight.1 = 1, 40.00, 0.30, 10.57, fx_shockwave_beaconh_nllight.2 = 9, 80.78, -2.00, 5.19, fx_vclightwhilight.3 = 10, 80.78, 2.00, 5.19, fx_vclightwhilight.4 = 5, 15.35, 7.35, 0.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrowlight.5 = 5, 15.35, -7.35, 0.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrowlight.6 = 7, -17.00, -55.00, 2.50, fx_shockwave_navredlight.7 = 7, -17.00, 55.00, 2.50, fx_shockwave_navgrelight.8 = 2, -19.00, -64.55, 6.85, fx_shockwave_strobe_llight.9 = 2, -19.00, 64.55, 6.85, fx_shockwave_strobe_llight.10 = 8, 13.40, -17.47, 3.40, cs757_edgelight.11 = 8, 13.40, 17.47, 3.40, cs757_edge light.12 = 5, 70.50, 0.00, -5.50, fx_shockwave_landing_light_doublelight.13 = 5, 87.50, 0.00, -2.00, fx_shockwave_landing_light_light*****

Gah I'm still split between FS9 707 and FSX 727-100/200 hehe. I probably shouldn't get both, spreads my attention to broad and either won't get as much deserving attention =P

Check out my repaints and downloads, all right here on AVSIM

Yep, playin with the C130. Tried shooting a high approach visual into Dutch Harbor. Watch your airspeed VERY, VERY carefully. If you stall, it will spin, and you will crash. Like I did! A couple of screenies.

That was the first paint I tested out as well. Flew a circuit out of Galveston. Just installed ASE today as well. It looked pretty stormy there.

I am a little confused about the ACE utility for the 727. I purchased all packeges.1. What liveries work that are found at AVSIM/FS.com work with the FSX version? There are FS8, FS9 and FSX liveries in the library.2. What do I do with them after I download them? Thanks.
