Gents-I have removed a bunch of posts from this thread beating up on some poor fellow who posted that he was going to refuse to purchase our product because it hasn't been released yet.Frankly- this isn't something worth getting into a brawl about so please stop piling on the poor SOD. The NGX is nearly finished and will be in your hands shortly- and I am certain you will find our decision to adhere rigidly to a quality product development standard will be satisfying in the long run.At PMDG we do not allow external pressures to determine our release schedule. We focus on product quality- which is what makes our products stand out.

And that's why I like PMDG. The "P" of precision, it's done when it's precisely! :(

Saw those posts earlier and yea that was tough to see. Personally I will be buying both aircraft just to compare them myself and different planes for different times. You all are doing a great job and I love that you all don't allow anyone else to interfere with what you are doing. The other aircraft has a known bug on release and will take them 3-4 weeks to fix they said but they wanted to get it out to everyone, PMDG would not do that which IMHO is the right way to do things. Take your time as I know you all will and release the best add on aircraft any of us have ever seen.Richard Glatter

A question for PMDG. Does it still makes sense calling you by the "Precision Manuals Development Group" name? I'm asking because your focus now is on producing high quality airplanes, not manuals anymore, although the manuals you produce for your airplanes are great. Very precise indeed :(.

Of course it makes sense. I have a whole book shelf of 737 manuals from that company :(

It's because when PMDG started, they created only manuals and no planes. That's where their name came from. After releasing only two manuals, the began to focus on airplanes. But that was a silly quetion anyway Black%20Eye.gif.

Not de-crabbing on any runway surface could have bad consequences, the gear could get really screwed up. On a wet runway, if the nose of the plane is in a bigger crab angle than usual, once you touchdown, you could loose directional control because the plane isn't lined up with the runway anymore.
Ok thanks Matthew, it is clear now and I didn't see that this was an already answered question, didn't have time to go trough the 20 pages and read every single post...Thanks again guys,David Di Domizio

I hope so, with this pipeline break up here, work has been really slow, in other words, lots of time to fly!!!! Much to the wife's dismay Big%20Grin.gif

No, keep the acronym. Change the name to Precision Masterpieces Development Group! :)
