you can't be serious. you may get away with this now that we know the manuals will be unlocked, but EULA's are there for a reason you know. don't be a smart &@($* and keep it to yourself

It seems that there are many who "interpret" the sounds of aircraft at various positions in the plane. The engines of most commercial small to medium haul aircraft are too far away to be heard much from the cockpit. As has been said, the cooling fan systems and electronics in the cockpit drown out much of the external noise until the wind rush over the airframe becomes audible. All chance of hearing the engines at that point tends to diminish. You are more likely to "feel" the engine vibration rather than hear them up front. The external wind noise really took me back once when I went up front a few years back, it was louder than I had expected it to be. I too am glad that the pdfs will be released, though I do not see myself printing it all out. That is what I have my second PC for, charts, manuals, weather generation à la ASE, and so on. Of course there are ways to print locked pdfs, but this is not the place to discuss that, now is it?The release of the year for FSX? This certainly has all the ingredients of being that. I look forward to being able to log into my PMDG account and download it. All the best to the PMDG team during the beta stage and packaging up for release. A great summer it is going to be!Thanks for the info.Andrew

Roar sound?!?!? This sound eminates from the back of the engines so its impossible to get it in the cockpit - however you will hear that roar on the wing views and outside the aircraft round the back end!Tero - we have gone for realism with the sounds, thats all we are interested in. Cheers,
Thanks, Armen.Looking forward to hearing about the completed product :D.Tero

Hi,I can remeber that anytime was something said about a fs2crew voice commander edition for the NGX. Will it come, and do we have to wait long for it after the release of the NGX?Nicolas Reich

yes there will be FSCREW for this aircraft. No idea how long the wait will be though. Truth is the best FSCREW versions are always the ones with a good SDK (Infact an SDK is the most important part of the system)So who ever releases the SDK first will most likely be first to get Fscrew. Remeber the iFly for FSX is coming soon too and will have FSCREW like the Fs9 version did. Im sure he can only make 1 at a time so its first come first served.Andrew Simmons

As far as I know, Bryan York has a very good relationship with PMDG so it could be that he is developing the FS2CREW version for the NGX along with PMDG's development of the NGX. Who knows, maybe these two fine products will be released the same day... One can only hope :-)

The plan for FS2Crew for the PMDG 737NG is this:1. There will be two versions: Button Control and Voice Control.2. As RSR has stated, there will be an SDK for the PMDG 737NGX, but I haven't seen it yet. If the SDK is as thorough as the rest of the plane is, FS2Crew should have totally seamless integration with the PMDG NGX... in other words, I won't need to use keypresses or simulated mouse clicks to make the virtual FO perform his flows. All integration will be totally "direct"... like the way it currently is in the PMDG Jetstream and LDS 767 versions.3. The code for FS2Crew PMDG NGX is already done; it's a port from another 737 version I've done. The benefit of this is the code is mature and it's been well vetted. SOPs were created by a real-world B737 Captain who is current on the plane. In terms of detail, it's the most detailed 737 crew simulation in existence. All that being said, I hope to release for the NGX asap... it all depends on the SDK though. Cheers,

Wouldn't it be cool if you could add passengers and that the amount of them transported are stored in the system. Like fspassengers? Wait... didn't I see 'airline options' in the CDU?

To start off, it's great that the end is near in a good way, but I have a couple of issues i have to settle in preperation for this marvel!1) First off, does anyone experience lower frame rates with the 747-400 with multiple monitors? If so is there anyway to correct this as I have an extremly good computer, and I'm also running FSX Booster.2) Secondly, have a Intel 2.93ghz processor 8mb cache, I can overclock it to 3.3Ghz but if i go any higher my sytem won't boot and I see other people getting it to around 4.0Ghz.3) I'm not totally sure this question can be answered but is the 737 NGX going to be more frame rate friendly than the MD-11 and 747-400, as the Level-D is very frame friendly.4) For the techy people, I have 16GB of RAM running at 2000Mhz, but in my BIOS I can only get it up to 1800Mhz due to the fact that I can't move the block multiplier any higher does that effect my performance.5)Do you think it is neccessary to upgrade my processor.6) How to fix choppy frame rates?Thank You So Much, Greg Selenski
Hi Greg,All you need is hereHope it helps,Gerard Cabezón

(...) Wait... didn't I see 'airline options' in the CDU?
I think the airline option is to have some pre-configured options to wether or not to have eye-brows, winglets, and what kind of display setup there is on the PFD and ND to name a few.

Let's just say that if it ISN'T released by this Christmas, sales of tainted Kool-Aid will go thru the roof!!

That's funny LOL.gif This has got to be the most anticipated product that PMDG has ever put out. PMDG always sets the bar for add on aircraft, and even if they charged $150 for it it would be worth it, it would just take me longer to come up with that much.Michael pare.
