October 28, 201114 yr Kansas City renown for BBQ, look at KMCI ILS01R and find SPICY BARBQ and SMOKE TERKY. My favorite is DOWNS located just west of KIND.I recommended an enroute fix to a controller friend and six months later it appeared on charts as BLOKS, means nothing special but that is "my" fix. Lot (if not all) of Slavic languages use them with the same meaning.Just look at the statement that "burek" is a Serbian national dish and then have a peek at the wikipedia article. lol. There are quite a lot of Turkish influences (linguistic, culinary or otherwise) around the Balkans since half of eastern Europe was within the borders of the Ottoman empire from the end of 14th up until late 19th century.
