Stumbled across this on the PMDG Wikipedia page and it made me smirk...just sayin' :(image3zxy.jpg(No, not trying to start rumors or have malintent here, just a bit funny since we all know Wikipedia may or may not be reliable)-Kyle

You need to put the question mark in the front of the title! All I saw when skimming down the main Avsim forum page was "Secret Project #2: Boeing 7...," and it got me way too excited! And now I want to know what the second Secret Project is!! :(

I am still hoping for a 727 or a 757.

Highly doubt both of them... especially the 757! Keep your eyes on the Level-D 757 though.

ahahah ya ok, highly doubt it, Boeing would not release the information needed to make a 787 to the degree PMDG would need.

I have for too many years now... and the lack of updates isn't really giving confidence either. But I can still hope that one of them will be announced :(

Whats listed on that page is of course complete garbage. I'd be very very surprised if even the 777 gets released in 2012. I'm guessing it will be released closer to 2014 than 2012

On Wikipedia you can basically write anything you want. So if the writer for example hopes for a 787 he can just put it there to make other people excited. I seriously doubt PMDG developing 787 at the moment. And if they are developing it, I will seriously eat my hat if it turns out Wikipedia was right! :( But no, the 787 has only been out for a few years, there probably not yet enough info for PMDG to make one. However, I think it will be a potential project for the future. And also, the 787 would be way to complicated for a Secret Project. For a Secret Project I expect more something like a classic, like a Lockheed Constellation, 737-200, or 707. Those aircraft do not have super clomplicated computing devices like and FMC, so it would not take super long to make one.

Completely untrue.
Why is it untrue, some may ask? I think I know. No way PMDG would tell anyone about possible development projects in that fashion.
