November 13, 201312 yr I recently bought taxi2gate's new MMMX Mexico city Extreme. All I have to say, is that Taxi2gate really has quite a bit of talent on their hands. The amount of autogen around the city (If you turn your autogen to the max) is amazing. With literally zero frame rate hit. And no OOM's either! The airport is really detailed. I would highly recommend this add-on to everyone. Totally worth it. I just wish Taxi2gate would do a U.S city... the majority would want a city i the U.S done. But it's truly an extremely accurate representation of this massive city, and just how stuffed it is!!! I usually don't fly to Mexico, but now I am!! If you want screens let me know!! -Best regards!
November 13, 201312 yr Commercial Member I agree, Taxi2Gate is one of the top scenery developers in my opinion. I don't own the Mexico City yet but I have most of their earlier products and I find them very good too.

You must get it mate!!! If you like Taxi2gate, this is the best one yet. The techniques in the scenery to save FPS and lower the VAS are amazing. With autogen at Extremely dense, no fps hit. I never used to think Mexico city was that nice and big and beautiful. But this scenery has totally changed my view!
November 13, 201312 yr How does it fit with FTX Global? - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).
November 13, 201312 yr Looks like KMCO is coming soon. I might be buying this! Intel i7 10700K | Asus Maximus XII Hero | Asus TUF RTX 3090 | 32GB HyperX Fury 3200 DDR4 | 1TB Samsung M.2 (W11) | 2TB Samsung M.2 (MSFS2020) | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280mm AIO | 43" Samsung Q90B | 27" Asus Monitor
November 13, 201312 yr How does it fit with FTX Global? MMMX has a large photoreal area with custom buildings which automatically gets layered on top of FTX Global. The boundary area between the scenery and FTX is obvious, but that's understandable. I like how much Taxi2Gate has grown. My only gripe is that they need to test before release. There are too many invisible crash zones along the taxi ways and the gate areas. November 14, 201312 yr Without out too much bias, I can say I own it, and I love it. BUT... I have flown it only twice. You cannot fly it with crash detection turned on. The developer promised a patch, but has had no communication with users for over a month. I don't think he's ready for the big time yet. Once he fixes the crash detection, this may be the best airport ever made for FSX. This is better than the big guys airports. However the lack of communication is more on par a second tier developer.
November 14, 201312 yr Taxi2Gate is an ok developer, I say only ok because of the lack of patches and lack of communication with the customers. I have all of their Cuba sceneries and they also have the invisible crash problem. I fly with crash detection off so this doesn't affect me but when I used to fly with the crash detection on it was very frustrating. Reik Namreg
November 14, 201312 yr Ahhhhh... Phoooo.. T_T I was hoping to get Mexico City for my VA flights that touchdown in Mexico City but this airport would be useless to me as I fly every flight with FSPassengersX turned on and that Add-on forces Crash Detection even if you switch it off when playing in expert mode which I do. Dang it! Patch yo STUFF! Captain K-Man FlightBlog Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCulqmz0zmIMuAzJvDAZPkWQ // Streaming on YouTube most Wednesdays and Fridays @ 6pm CST Brian Navy
November 14, 201312 yr This is a really good scenery. Have been flying a lot out of here. Really hope KMCO is out soon. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 4 Eric
November 14, 201312 yr Moderator What exactly is crash-detection? Do add ons force it to be on??? It detects when you crash or run into something like a building or another plane. Do addons force it to be on? Apparently some do likw FS passengers or maybe other addons like it. Addon planes or sceneries dont require it, at least none I have ever bought. Personally I think it causes more problems than anything. You can have an AI plane touch you and it sets off crash detection, or as mentioned a scenery that has some errors can cause it. I think most people know if they crash and dont need the sim to tell you, but thats just my opinion. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
