December 28, 20169 yr take a look at their forums. People are reporting that the FMS is calculating speeds in the 1000-2000 knot range for cruise speeds which is apparently causing autothrottle issues.I just did a couple flights today without any issue on my end. Im wondering why other people are gettinf those weird calculations. FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024
December 28, 20169 yr Anybody else try and fly this thing at dusk or dawn yet? Best I can tell, none of the VC lights work other than at "night". Makes this thing almost impossible to fly. I've yet to run into this on a high end payware aircraft, didn't even know this problem existed. How the heck am I suppose to see the panels lol? Allen, flight sim lover and AA-5 Traveler owner

They work, they just don't have any really effect. There are also other problems with the VC lighting and shadows at night. December 28, 20169 yr Moderator For me and my 4 year old simming PC the easiest indicator for a smooth flight is the average FPS variation. I'm sure pretty much everyone here knows how to edit the fsx.cfg to display this information. Despite my PC's age, some of the most demanding add-on's from PDMG and Majestic, just to name a few, not only give me consistently 30 FPS, which is what I have my Fsx locked to, they also have very little variation between the lowest measured FPS and highest, and it is only 2-3%. This in my mind is key for a satisfactory and smooth experience. With the 717 unfortunately (regardless of update, enabling/disabling hardware acceleration) the variation in FPS is in the 15-20% range. This is typically the reason an add on appears to not run fluid (many WILCO products have these issues). I have had some add on's where I couldn't achieve more than 27 FPS (FS Labs) due to my aging machine. However, the variation in FPS is only about 2-3 % and I'll adjust my locked frames and can still very much enjoy it. Unfortunately I'll probably end up putting it in my hangar although I wanted this airplane to be good very badly. Taxiing and turning (almost all ground operations) are choppy and give me a headache due to FPS fluctuation variance. Again, other high end add on's don't have that problem on my aging system. Just my 2 cents, I hope they figure it out. Cheers, Pete I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZ, CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11

December 29, 20169 yr I just did a couple flights today without any issue on my end. Im wondering why other people are gettinf those weird calculations. I tired another short flight this evening and got calculated speeds of almost 6000 kts in the FMS!!! Needless to say this flight was terminated just as all of my others have been. I'm done with it for now until some major fixes are done. Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11
December 29, 20169 yr Commercial Member got calculated speeds of almost 6000 kts in the FMS Wow. Did you report this formally? Kyle Weber (Private Pilot, ASEL; Flight Test Engineer)Check out my repaints and downloads, all right here on AVSIM
December 29, 20169 yr Sounds a bit like XP 11 The beta software? I don't see how that is even remotely comparable. 4790K @4.9GHz, 32GB DDR3, 1080Ti, W10-64bit

December 29, 20169 yr Isn't XP a paid beta?? Not really. Currently XP11 beta (and eventually the full version) is offered to people who buy XP10 digital via the LR website. 4790K @4.9GHz, 32GB DDR3, 1080Ti, W10-64bit
December 29, 20169 yr Not really. Currently XP11 beta (and eventually the full version) is offered to people who buy XP10 digital via the LR website. So it is a paid beta. You have to buy something to get the beta. Hell, you have to buy an older version of the product to get the current version. December 29, 20169 yr Moderator did you do the most recent update? that helped immensly for me.I did Matthew, it only improved it by 2-3%, still very choppy. The thing I really don't understand is, how can one of the (if not the most) demanding add-on's FSLabs perform smoother on my aging rig, when the 717 is still everything but smooth. I haven't even tried using it at payware airports because its performance already struggles on default airports. For me at least the lerformance is back on track. The issues that bug me are with the systems and cdu. im highly opimistic and this is the first time ive boight something on day one. I wanted to suplort the new geoup and ill be seeing it through. FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024
