May 30, 20179 yr I'm new to Prepar3d. Just installed today with a fairly robust computer (4790 @ 4.9 ghz, two 1080 GTX's, 16 GB DDR3) Fairly modest settings, can get frames above 22fps. I was thinking this was going to be awesome, but I'm getting far more amazing performance from FSX. What do I need to do do bump up to a solid 60 FPS? Edit: Just lowered all graphical settings, cannot get FPS above 30 no matter what. David J. May 30, 20179 yr The thing that stuck out to me the most after my first flight is the autogen, wow is it ever impressive when turned all the way up! I can't wait to see it once I get UTX and Open LC installed, not to mention Orbx regions. May 31, 20179 yr Great, now we are back to posting our .cfg's. Here we go again. Let me guess.... you want 64bit. Josh Daniels-Johannson

May 31, 20179 yr Just installed a new Gigabyte 1080 G1 Gaming today for this special release of V4. And holy moly you all are correct. The new autogen draw distance is very impressive. No more texture loading popping in and out. Very impressed so far with the performance. All sliders to the right! Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

May 31, 20179 yr I've found performance to be similar to v3. London is still the frame rate killer and the fact I can really crank up the autogen just feeds my bad habits :) Daniel Moser
May 31, 20179 yr My setup, 4k resolution (65 inch samsung tv :)) 1080ti 2600k overclocked 4,5Ghz 16Gb memory KLAX default start (meaning select KLAX with no add ons, all sliders maxed) average vent from 12-19 to 18-25. Biggest difference for me: *Stutters completely gone (for me that is...YES YES YES ) and autogen goes as far as I always wanted it to be. *Will I dial things back to get it to an average above 30fps...yes but this get´s a highly recommended from me. *Below 30fps is semi slide show-y but without stutters it´s just so much much better.
