I passed the CRJ in p3d completely but hey this one is really looking stunning. Hope that she's flying well too... back to checking manuals...

...and check the skycam on side console on number 3 😄

Cheers

Well. I encountered the first bug that will make everyone cringe

The plane will waltz heavily from left to right on AP like there is a 100kts winds blowing on it. and something it will just fly straight. It's pretty bad.

Will be interesting to see in the coming days how hard this is on the system, more so for those of us that do not have Super Computers

Especially with the last update.

In two months of testing on a 4.5 GHz 4790K / 1080Ti system, I had no major performance issues at all. I run locked at 30FPS and have been able to maintain that with no problems even at complex airports and with Live Weather. Since Sim Update 3, I have seen slightly lower FPS at some airports (on the ramp) but always back to 30 in cruise. For me, performance has been comparable to the WT CJ-4 and FBW A320.

When its waltzing, does it also dip & climb?

So far the performance is good, I didn't expect it to be that good in terms of performance! I get more or less the same what I'd get in FBW

Agreed, Did a quick round at LOWI in real weather and quite some multiplayer on and zero nil impact on FPS compared to FBW, indeed actually even smoother. Well done.

EDIT did just basically handfly it from LOWI to EDDM, both 3PD scenery and still very smooth, no noticeable stutters at all, let alone pauses. Did bring it down manually, little twitchy at low speed and full flaps but managed to land

That is great news Jim,

Good to see our 1080 TI's are still holding their own 🙂

Curious if anyone in the USA is having download issues from the AS store, I saw a post on one of their forums saying that he had to VPN to Germany to get the download to start.

I believe you can like uploading a saved flight plan.

Place your flp file (e.g. Simbrief prepared flight plan) in this user\your name\... location

CRJ-FLT-PLAN.jpg

This is free. register yourself here and start flight plans and you can set it to auto save in that location directly.

Yup, still can't download here.  I noticed their front page came back up though.  Hopefully the rest of it will work soon.  Just as soon as I posted that, the download started...ROFL.

it seems that enabling 1/2 bnk tame the behavior. It's been flying straight for the last 10 min.

Interesting.  Hans responded to a different post saying that their CDN was AWS, so I'm surprised there are location-specific problems.

Nope.....can't say we serviced too many Russian military aircraft at KRYY. 😉   Not even sure if our ramp could hold an An-22. 🙂

I did see an AN-124 fly overhead on its way to Dobbins once though...does that count? LoL  (sorry, couldn't resist)

We get them from time to time when theres another satellite ready for transport here. The last one flew a luxury camper down to Azerbaidjian though...some people got too much money. :D
