add some throttle if you can't hold it.

So guys I completed my first short flight CRQ-LAX in one piece. I did hand fly approach to KLAX. Over all impressions are not bad at all. It reminds me of  more complex CJ4! Lack of terrain and WX radar is certainly disappointing, but definitely not a show stopper. I do have some problems with my honeycomb quadrant.  My flap axis goes from 0 to 40 degrees in 1/3 of the movement, so I will use GA flaps for now. Thrust reversal works one way only, I can engage them but not disengage. Much more to learn yet. On a bright side CRJ absolutely doesn't eat my fps pretty much feels like WT CJ4

My flaps do the same on Bravo, I will try to reset the channel.

If you advance the throttles a bit then the reversers close. There is a way to set the Bravo TOGA button to turn of reversers as well I saw somewhere.

Manny, have you tried Aerosoft support?  There’s an entry in their FAQ that sounds a bit like what you’re experiencing, the aircraft flies but no displays work.  The ask in the FAQ was to report it if it happens including everything you did before the displays went blank.

'm probably reading more into this than needed? Also I have a Navigraph subscription. I know that the CRJ comes with "NavdataPro", is there a way to get it to use the Navigraph data?  Is there a check box somewhere I can choose between the two like in P3D?

If you have the Navigraph data manager  desktop app, it should already be able to find the database folder for the MSFS version of the CRJ - if not, it soon will be able to do so. You would just overwrite the Aerosoft database with the Navigraph version. They both live in the same place.

Anyone else having problems with it keeping altitude in ALT HOLD mode?

Are you using Live Weather? I have often seen pressure shifts occur in LW at altitude which will cause your altitude to suddenly change. The aircraft usually works its way back to the selected altitude after a few moments. That should not happen if using the clear sky (no wind) preset.

I can't find the Aerosoft support thread. I sked the Q in the general discussion forum.

OK,

So I reconfigured my flaps to flaps switch instead of axis. I set standard flaps increase/decrease switch like in GA planes. Spoilers and throttles seems work fine. But autopilot panel for the most par inop -  I can't set altitude or heading with honeycomb. The only thing works is  autopilot on/off button

Oh boy the website is super slow, I wonder how many people are trying to buy it at the same time 😅

After all, they might be right about the new dimension of the market. 🙂

Happy with MSFS 🙂

The year is 2021, we have the technology to not have this happen. Why is this still happening? I swear flight simulation is 10+ years behind "the industry" in so many regards.

Perhaps because add on developers don't want to pay the high costs involved in allowing everyone to download on day 1 at the same time. They are not going to make that much money from this.

i also noticed this but it was in my case only the motion of the button that goes from 0 to 40 instantly. But the bravo throttle lever works fine going in steps when looking outside and on the digital display.

I'm doing my second flight. So new discovery with heneycomb quadrant VS works, HDG works, SPD works. ALT doesn't!

Sure you use alt and VNAV correctly? Works here enroute to KEYW. Selected ALT first then set VNAV on (green dots) and climb rate. Once at desired ALT it switches VNAV on and ALT engages with the two green dots and does hold it.

Well DAD,

What's the verdict so far, I know you were really looking forward to it?

Is it measuring up?
