How does Asobo manage to write something so devoid of actual information ?

Development roadmap doesn't go past this month.....no Marketplace update....

Less and less information every week.

Haha yup. It’s like a politicians bible. Full of waffle. Or one of those newspaper articles that takes an entire 3 pages to get to a point that could be made in one sentence.

Maybe Asobo send them a post each week full of interesting and informative facts and the MS people carefully remove every single one of them to leave this bland  empty mush ?

@ChaoticBeauty

I’m so late to give you you’re weekly 🌲🌲🌲, that your weekly update topic has already fallen to page 2. For a second I thought you hadn’t even posted it yet since it fell off the first page.

My mother always told me: If you have nothing to say, don't say anything.

Another week another dribble, I'm only reading it to see if they'll ever expand and make these updates useful, I could be waiting awhile.

Meanwhile have they abandoned VR already? They had an entire team working on the implementation, wishes are STILL "TBD" and Bugs have barely any acknowledgement after 3+ months...

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

Less and less information every week.

The only explanation is that they have nothing to say because there is no significant developments beyond the end of April. What else ?  They are fully committed and working to rewrite for the box. You know like ‘which button of the xbox controller should we use to initiate a side slipping ?’.

The good side of it is that we won’t have a dreaded update soon, beyond France&Benelux.

But I might be a bit optimistic here. They have showed the last three days that they can introduce a bug without an update. Not a word about the many users complaining about the reset of stats and preferences after the packages out of date bug.

A last thing we got our ration of ‘can’t wait’ and ‘excited’ but no ‘awesome’ . I feel cheated.

Dominique

Simming since 1981 -  [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam

Well at least they fixed the bug that was preventing the correct font from resetting in Dev mode.

That's a huge relief.

It becomes more and more clear what exactly the goal of MSFS is........XBOX.....not Simmers.

They care for the big money.....we simmers do not bring them BIG money.....the GAMERS at XBOX do, because they buy their product in MASSES.

Honestly I did expected this as soon as they announced XBOX. The XBOX market is so much bigger compared to what we simmers would like to see. I estimate we do not even reach 5% of the GAMERS market who are expected to buy MSFS.

We are simply not worth the development.....(at the moment.....and after that it is a ?)
