Carenado teases Cessna 337 Skymaster coming soon

Featured Replies

The Skymaster is one of the most beloved products from Carenado and it’s also one of the most interesting GA airplanes around.

I wonder if the cabin will be as loud as he real aircraft?

Yep , this one is a keeper .

That was one of my favourite Carenados in P3D, looking forward to it.

They announced it a while ago, hoping with these new screens it’s close to release!

Me three.  Gotta like the view from the left seat.

We will need a BAT-21 livery...  Check out starting about 0:45 into the video.  An audio track interview with one of the the actual pilots involved in the operation continues after the video.  One of my most favorite movies ever!

Carenado has always been good with the texturing / materials and the 3D modeling.

Looking at those pictures it's getting close to looking natural.

Will probably be a fun plane to just kick the tires and go when you don't feel like dealing with in-depth systems and such, and you just want to fly, or check out some new scenery.

It is a great aircraft for observation.  And also fast when you want to go fast!  It may be the prefect model for sightseeing, which is clearly the greatest strength of MSFS 2020.  Tour one area, then fast forward to the next, and then the next......

Yep - always loved this aircraft, but every time I see one I kind of get the shivers.  Closest I ever came to a mid-air was with one of these.

I was in the middle of a dual training flight over northern Illinois in the early 70's, level at about 3,000 getting ready to practice turning stalls, when a Skymaster came out of nowhere,  It was descending at a high rate of speed and appeared just above me and to the right.  I think he saw me at the last moment and quickly turned to his left - I only had a moment to realize he was there and then he was gone.

I can tell you that the person in the right seat had a mustache...
