I posted on their discord page, and they were surprised. I am going to try it once more to make sure I observed correctly. Seemed to me like it had not changed at all.

Wonder if it makes a difference if you install the update over the old version, or delete the old version first and then reinstall? And then maybe restart the sim. I haven't seen any recommendations on the update procedure.

Okay then, thanks Bert

Thee new installer is on Simmarket. The installer is numbered 20220220. If you notice the date 2/20/2022 is probably the date they started working on it.

Just got an email from SWS. Update is out.

By the way, it says on their Discord page to do a clean install, don't overwrite. Guess I will do that after I finish the flight I am on now.

I just finished the second flight in the Kodiak. The pitch nose down problem is exactly the way it was before the update. I watched the trim wheel this time and it rotated nose down about 5 degrees when I disconnected the AP.  Long wait for not much.

Well, poup.  That's the one thing I was looking forward to being fixed.  Thanks for the heads up.

I just double checked the nose dropping when AP is disconnected, it is doing exactly the same thing that it did before the update. You can see the trim wheel rotate forward about 5 degrees, when disconnecting the AP.

So I see no instructions for deleting the previous version.  It is not listed in Control Panel...Programs so not from there.  The update installer contains no option to uninstall the previous version.  Is it just a manual folder delete?

I found this uninstall mention on their discord page. BTW, the nose down trim problem when AP is disconnected is still there. No change.

There's an "uninstall.exe" in the folder the Kodiak was installed into.

Just about every piece of software I have has an uninstall.exe..   Unless update instructions tell me to specifically run the uninstall, I never do.

Since the one thing I wanted the nose dropping when AP is turned off, still is not right, I just uninstalled it and will test fly it again. My guess is , this won't fix it.
