April 7, 20224 yr thank u Scott for a detailed update. Finally, finally, a complicated aircraft This should be a real beauty. While flying FSX had a lot of fun flying the 146. Also, very nice to have a reasonable price point!!! A++ 10700kf, 3080 nividia, 32gbs 3400mhz, 1,000 watts power, M.2 DVMe !tb, boot, 1tb 7200rpm, storage, windows 10 home
April 7, 20224 yr The price drop removes any small doubts I may have had. I've a feeling this plane will be an extraordinary success for Just Flight.
April 8, 20224 yr Thank you Scott and JustFlight team, your decision will cost me (happily) 60€!!! Bernard CPU = 12900K / GPU = Nvidia 3090 VRAM 24 GB / RAM = 64 GB / SSD = 2 TB 980 PRO PCle 4.0 NVMe™ M.2,
April 8, 20224 yr My main question is how much the definition of professional has changed for JF. I had the JF L-1011 Professional back in the day and while I generally think JF is a great part of the sim community, I thought the Tristar did not live up to its professional billing. I very much like but don't require "study level" as defined by the likes of PMDG, with failures, etc But dummy switches, departures from real world standard procedures, etc, as found in the Lockheed give me pause at these prices. To their immense credit JF offered a refund, which they did not have to do and which left a very good impression of them despite the 1011's shortcomings (which is why I've bought a bunch of other stuff from their store over the years). So I'm not upset about that purchase - just wondering about this one. If the professional designation has been redefined upward since the 1011 days then I'm happy to buy this plane. If the level of simulation is on par with the P3d version of the QualityWings 787, for instance, with a good standard operations representation but some stuff like abnormal procedures left out or minor downgrades from regular real life like simplified cabin lighting controls, etc. If not, I'd have to think about it first. I can only tell from the P3D version, but I think the MSFS version is the same. It deserves the term study level IMO. While it does not have failures (or does it?), anything else is working and deeply modeled. It's definitely deeper than the QW 787. I'd say it was study-level-wise right up there with PMDG and FSL in P3D. (That said I legitemately have never seen a 146 in real life, let alone been inside of one, so I really have no idea how it feels/sounds/flies in real life.) For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
April 8, 20224 yr I agree with @Fiorentoni on this one. I personally don't look for failures but otherwise, this BAE146 has it all. The amount of 'bugs' you think you find only to discover it is user error and covered in the manual. Read up and go back at it and it's works perfectly and is very satisfying. I believe this is going to be near the top of any favourites list for a lot of people. Ryzen 9800X3D, RTX 5090, 64GB, Win 11. MSFS2020. Moza, MFG, Fulcrum & Virpil controllers. Quest 3 for VR.
April 8, 20224 yr I’ve got absolutely no need for the implementation of failures in a sim aircraft. However system depth is important, as are flight model, overall textures and representation of the aircraft. Of course a working FMC goes without saying. Im looking forward to the 146. Ive a few Just Flight products and they are generally of good quality. I also have a good impression of JF as a developer. Very positive that price was reduced in response to community feedback - I was on the fence when initial price was announced. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

April 8, 20224 yr So…while we prepare…does anyone have any old 146 timetables/routes for the UK and Europe? I’m think the old BA Cityflyer routes?
April 8, 20224 yr Anybody want to find out about the study level nature of this plane just look at the start up procedures in the YouTube videos put out by JF. Impressive. Ryzen 7 5800x, 64gb, 7900XTX 24gb

Impressive. I just have one question: Is the pilot in the videos a developer who knows the code, or an actual BAe 146 pilot who knows the plane? Everything in the cockpit seems so logical, elegant and functional that I can't tell the difference. This is going to be my favorite aircraft I think...
