Steve you can change to registration number under customization ATC tail number :wink. You still using the default G-FSR01 hehe

I know it's popular around these parts to bash the Marketplace, but keep one important thing in mind (and it is important): one of them feeds the continued development of the sim, and the other does not.

Enjoyed my purchase today. Great handling and I had no issues doing rnav and ils landings.  Love purchasing from the marketplace, smooth and easy without having to navigate to 50 other websites to perform updates.  Thank you Simbol.

I don't like the Marketplace either, but not buying this stunning, groundbreaking GA plane purely because it's on the Marketplace means only you lose out my friend!   Make an exception, it's a beauty 😎

The Marketplace has changed with regards to updates and payware aircraft and I guarantee you that the dev "Raul" will not disappoint you. He keeps his word.

Fun little thing. Well worth the purchase price.

 

A training school a few hours down the road has one, if I happen to be down that way, might see about logging a few hours in it just for a lark.

It does seem that they have dedicated some more time and resources to the marketplace; with updates now happening twice a week. I am hopeful that the initial teething issues are nearly done and it will be a quicker and smoother store going forward. Raul is really dedicated, provides great support, and his rational for using the Marketplace is quite sound.

In case some of you are not following my discord channel, I submitted an update Monday morning to Market Place, but I then replaced it yesterday morning to include another fix. This is the first update and now I am measuring how long it takes to reach end customers. Although this one might not be the best bench mark since it was a holiday on Monday in USA (memorial day).. but I think we might have the update released by Thursday.

Hello everyone, we have pushed an update to market place for the Sting S4. The following changes have been made:

• Fix: Corrected issue with Bronze Burgundy and Silver Sting liveries where the AO map for the open handle was too dark.
• Fix: Corrected a bug with tyres blown out where the left tyre was the only one being animated. Now both left + right are animated correctly for these events.
• Fix: AI traffic (S4 as a MP airplane) missing sounds under certain circumstances.
• Fix: Parking Brakes axis assignments were causing an issue with the chokes logic, this has now been corrected.
• New: Users now have the option to switch between tinted canopy and clear canopy via a new setting on the EFB.

These changes have been submitted and I will let you all know when the platform has ingested them and publish them live. I continue to monitor the feature request and we will be implementing what we can via future updates, your feedback is very important to me, thanks for all your ideas and great support so far.

Based on what I read, I think I really like this airplane. The only thing bothering me is the excessive weather-vane effect in crosswind conditions: in some aircraft in MSFS it's impossible to keep the centerline when at maximum demonstrated crosswind component. Has this aircraft this bug too or somehow it has been corrected?

Hi Paul,

Are you going to offer this on a website other than the MS marketplace? I hope so as all the Marketplace aircraft are encrypted by Microsoft. This means that if a user privately wishes to tweak something in the flight model, a/p, or other parameters it is not possible. Congrats on the release. It looks really good.
