I finally get proper instructions to step down and manage speed in a way that was as close as I remember to my RW experience in a jumpseat ride from LEMD to LPPT some years ago exactly on an A320, the same type I used with Fenix in my tests. For a default built-in feature I'd say it's as good as I can ask, and better than it was last time I tried it. Enabling Traffic, in my case rw / Online, was yet another rewarding experience. SU10, even being Beta, is really worth the try ! It can make sense in some games to use both DLSS and DSR if there are fine details like thin power lines or distant planes where you would like as much fine-grained pixel detail as possible, coupled with the better performance and better small detail upscailing that DLSS brings. In military combat sims, where the enemy planes can often be just a few pixels wide, it could be a help to have both DSR to give you better details and DLSS to get better performance. In racing games with power lines near the road it is nice if they have as few jagged edges as possible (I have played a ton of Forza Horizon 5 and run it at 2.25x DSR just for the sake of the power lines...)

From what I remember, its coded deep into the sim and is a hard one to get rid of. Its my main, well only sim now I love it and its all good, but some things do leave you wondering why its there in the first place, especially in 2022. At least wind gusts are back and the air feels more alive now.... which from what I recall was taken out because too many people complained that it was too hard to fly 🤣

But going by their explanation, even though it was caught, they couldn't fix it over night. They had had to ship the update and if the issue is deep in the render pipeline, it means a lot of things have to get unpacked and changed just to get to it. "Deep" denotes that it is connected to and affects a lot of things. It isn't a horrible bug and personally, I haven't observed it in a long time since the conditions have to be just right. So Asobo had to move on to more pressing things. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

Anyway, you are correct there are more important things to deal with now. ✌️
July 14, 20223 yr Hi, I've just installed the SU10 Beta. With DLSS (Quality), DX12 and HDR, I see the following: 1) smoother textures. 2) a change of colour. 3) a few FSP drops in urban areas and big airports, but no FPS dropping in the air far away of cities or big airports (I have adjusted the limit to 30 fps in NVIDIA Panel). And I have a question: can I use Google Maps? Now I have no add-ons installed in the Community folder. Thank you in advance. Edited July 14, 20223 yr by John Fields
July 14, 20223 yr SU10 beta has broken Rex WeatherForce, so I am currently using Live Weather. I'm always complaining about only seeing Cumulus in Live weather, but I was pleasantly surprised to see this cloudscape on my most recent flight. High thin layer of cirrus with broken cumulus below, itself mixed with a stratus layer. in the distance the low cumulus layer disappeared under a thick layer of stratus. I still feel RexWeatherForce does a better job of depicting the sky, but progress is being made in Live Weather.
