Just check NewEgg.  I did a quick check for RTX 3090 and the first advertisement that came up had the RTX 3090 for $999.99 USD: https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?d=rtx+3090

With the RTX 4090 possibly coming out next month, I would think a lot of vendors are trying to dump their 3090.

Yes, that would make sense. I have misinterpret the orginial post, sorry. I am happy for those you will make a bargain. I paid quite a lot for it, but I upgraded from my 10 years old graphics cards, so it was worth is.

Nvidia is still making new ones. The EVGA web store has 3090Tis at 50% off. $2K 3090 series on sale for $1K.

Gave DX12 a try in the DA40 NG flying low around my home town. I didn't see any missing tiles but I was getting pretty severe FPS drops from time to time.

Switched back to DX11 and repeated the same flight and it's just much smoother on my system, keeping a steady 60 FPS most of the time.

Settings are high, 4k DLSS Balanced. No in-game tweaks except for disabling all the fake camera effects such as motion blur and lens flare. No system or driver tweaks at all.

Before SU10 I used to fly with vsync at 30 FPS. Now I use 60 FPS vsync with DLSS and it makes panning around a much more pleasant experience.

You have a Nvidia card, as reiterated several times, you need the new Nvidia driver....

The very 1st SU10 Beta had excellent DX12 performance (2080 Ti here - I've always had poor DX12 performance in MSFS with DX12), but there were some visual issues.

If the new driver gets us back to where we were in SU10b1, then DX12 and MSFS will be right as rain.

I have no idea what they fixed, but after the 1.27.20.0 has been running great in DX11 for me. I have no idea what FPS it's running at (new personal rule - no FPS checking in MSFS... it reduces stress... ), but they're perfect as is. Smooth as glass departing FT KBOS at dawn with 80% AIG and PMDG 738. I can live with the sim in this condition for a while.

A personal rule which I share! It's saved me not only stress but cash as well  in that I've been able to resist buying a new graphics card long enough to see prices beginning to drop!😀

It's been updated in the beta. Tried it briefly, can search for navaids and airports and stuff. I usually use Navigraph though.

That’s a bit worrying for me then, mine just returns a blank window.

Thanks for asking. Again. Guess we are. Well, I am for sure. Just working out the last kinks with Asobo, will let MS drop the final update once we are done

I had the same problem and it turned out to be something in the community folder. It was a while back and I cannot remember what it was...but you might try disabling your community folder (rename it) and see if that solves the problem.
